best advice i can give you is to hang out with friends.
@feba, he said he drinks occasionally. that doesnt mean he is an alcoholic.
if he would drink continuously it might have been the problem.
hang with friends, go to movies.. maybe take a break and go on a holiday
for a long weekend. just get your head out of your daily routineis what i
would try =)

I think many people are confusing clinical depression with "feeling depressed." While "feeling depressed" can be adequately treated with a walk in the sun and a beer, clinical depression really can't. It's like telling someone who is mentally retarded that they just need to think harder. If you haven't experienced clinical depression, it's hard to understand.
It's very common for depression to be associated with ADD, anxiety, etc. Rizla, it sounds like you are on the right track with diagnosis and treatment so I don't need to add anything else. I wish you the very best in getting through it.

My 2 cents i battled this for...5 years. Is it a chemical imbalance or what? Ive got mine under control now though. Gl with it though, need anything pm me
Haha it helps but not recommended. Use to punch my monitor, and wall a lot. Know my knuckles are screwed, popped them out of place and now they hurt really bad
It is true, i had anxiety, depression and ADD. But ADD runs in the family. But you learn to deal with it after awhile

I've had a short one of my one.
But advice I got from people close to me helped me cure it:
I took a trip to the mountains and just relaxed, trying to get the bad things off my mind.
Try to relax and forget about your sorrow.
Remember: don't use any kinds of drugs. It only makes it worse.
Drugs turn into addiction and later, depression again.
An example of what drugs can do was very discussed in OTL not so long ago.
I will not mention the person as not to become offensive. But most people know who I am speaking about.
Remember, try to get the bad things off your mind and concentrate on relaxing and having a good time with friends.
If this helps in any way at all, it's quite pleasing to me.

I figured I had it, but I don't think so.
I'm just naturally really really happy. And for that I'm happy
Best way to counter being sad is just to be happy
. There isn't really a remedy for it, just do stuff. Stuff that comes to your mind.
If you wanna watch tv, do that, if you wanna read a book, do that, if you wanna hang with friends, do that, if you wanna go on the computer, do that.
I'm not too sure what to say, but I've never been able to be sad for more than like an hour.
... I'd say watch south park in the mid-seasons, simpsons, dragonball z, dragon ball (first saga is farking hilarious), hmm... I dunno, just animated shows. Shows with real people aren't really funny.
I dunno, just do stuff.

I used to be depressed alot when I was younger, mostly because of drama and boy problems >.> Depression is something that everyone goes through at a certain time in life. Being depressed is the worst feeling ever, but it will pass..time always heal the pain. Whenever I'm depressed/stressed I usually go out party, shop or get a massage/facial and it helps me relax
I think you should get a 45min massage at a salon, it'll make you feel amazing
Thanks deep.in for the cute sig!
