Need Help Fixing Counter-Strike 1.6

When I would load up CS, all I see is the 2 Ct and T standing next to each other and the screen would also be flashing. I remember this happened right when i updated my graphics card. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It don't work. I tried playing in window mode but instead i get a full black screen.

Fixes Everything, just the other day, i failed at an attempt to add bots to 1.6 so it got all laggy and crap, so laggy that i couldnt even get in a game, so i reinstalled and added my back-up maps etc. back in and woot back to 1.6.
