OK i dont get whats so good about uniques.

all i thought you got was the same kind of stuff you got off the white tiger giant for tiger girl.....
and do you acctually get much exp?....

and can someone tell me there best drop from tiger girl to prove me wrong please i wanna see if there worth hunting.

It's the greatest thing when you kill your first unique, and then you get unrepairable gear nobody wants to buy, unless somebody takes it first amidst the huge group of mobs in the center...But that's about as good as it gets

I've never gotten an sos item from a unique, nor have I heard of anyone who has.

the good thing is your name appearing on screen yes that is it

i guess one could say the elites give more sos than more normal mobs and if you are the same lvl as the unique (which is very unlikely) you get good exp

you get lots of xp, unless youre a lot higher than the mob. most drops are gold and special return scrolls, repair invalid stuff, etc. etc.
any drops i get from uniques that i can use, i save for when im capped and farmed and ready for my murder spree.

ive only had 1 SOS drop and that was from a chakji worker

and i dont think ill be able to kill a unique yet...im gonan make a guild first and make a it job-active guild so we help each other out.

At level 62 I got around 90K EXP from Yarkan and I know that I did very minimal damage to him.

If you go after TG (level 20) at level 30 you will get a lot less EXP percentage wise than I did going after Yarkan (level 80) at level 62.

Uruchi (level 40) will get you a much higher EXP percentage.

I agree, uniques suck.
I hate waiting around for them. I hate having to sit at their spawn spot with the entire union and Cerberus keeps making out with TG so he won't come out. But I think KeyJ was the problem cuz he spawned right after he logged off

I usually dont bother with uniques unless i am in the immediate area when they spawn. I grind on mages \ royal guards so im right ontop of yarkan if he spawns at the mages\arena.

Ive camped for TG....got bored (still havent SEEN her to this day)
Ive camped for Uri....got bored (still havent SEEN him to this day)

Ive gotten isy 2 times when she spawned while i was riding to my grinding spot.

Ive gotten yarkan probably 30 times cause im always near 1 of his spawn points.

I like seeing my name in lights

EDIT: but yea, you get absolute garbage from them, lol. Repair invalid drops, gold, return scrolls. Sometimes you get lucky and get a regular drop from one of his spawns...but not too often.

Personal pleasure mostly.
When I got my first unique kill which was isy at level 64 (before xlarge pots came out, and it was actually difficult to tank her at that level), when I actually got the kill I couldn't stop shaking for at least 5 minutes afterwards. I got her again afterwards at level 65 by accident

My TG and Uri kills were both unplanned. TG spawned while I was hunting with a guildie in Jang. And Uri turned up while I was hunting with guildies to celebrate our anniversary

It's more like an accomplishment thing. It feels great when you finally score a kill for that unique you've been hunting for eras!

I only hunt each unique once, altough for now I only got Tiger Girl (twice, one hunting and another "by accident"), I can't wait to manage to kill all the other uniques out there!

I havent killed TG yet on Odin.. and I dont plan to unless im fully farmed lvl80

I killed Uri at lvl51 and Isy at lvl56 and lvl58 and lvl60 and lvl61

Yarkan is next :twisted:

To answer your question...!!! I always get a rush when killing uniques specially if they are very equal my lvl and it takes a lot of practice to get those elites

. Like StealMySoda I was shaking for a full 5 minutes when i got my first isy kill ^_^
