ROGUE XBOW BUILD - POISON SKILLS

Hi buddies,

I'm doing a xbow rogue, but i still have some doubts about the build.

Poison skills helps crossbowers (pvp,pve) ?

I took 10 lvl bard to get Moving March and I dont regret about it, but in future I want to choose a sub-class to follow. Must I keep leveling Bard or choose another one ?

Xbow rivals mages in damage.

Poison will do about 300 extra damage in five seconds.

I don't recommend getting a subclass at all.

I show you how i build,hope dont follow my guide. At lv1-40 rogue crossbow, skill up poison,crossbow extream, long shot,power shot, all of this need to be full with your lv, and rapid shot lv1(use to lure giant or party monster), cleric learn faith lv2, and group heal lv1( for early stage) and resuraction lv1(just to safe noob life), extra sp goes to Dagger power up, hawk eyes(for critical purpose), Dagger Desperate, Scud.

After lv40

stop all bow skill, go for combo blow, prick, and start to change to dagger rouge. monster mask just add for fun, and i dont like to sell mask,seems cheating people money, mask is just a skill, even though sell i also sell 1k is enough but i dont know why people sell 20k.

Traning
party with 4/4 distribution,solo. you can earn alot. use crossbow extream, save mp, hp and bolt(super worth). when want to chalenge gaint, change cleric rod(crossbow extream will auto disable) heal with group heal and eat small pot, your hp should be full if you below lv25, you have alot if hp 2k plus ,just kill it, and your hp wont below 50% if monster no critical, just drink hp pot with 20sec delay is enough.

Light Armor
make sure your armor is follow with your mastery lv. and find a good cri weapon or +X weapon, not suggest to buy SOX weapon when you are low lv, is a waste.

Just curious, why stop crossbow skills after 40?

Change to Dagger is Most of the dagger skill have much more Hit then crossbow, and also aiming for Pvp , after lv40 your dagger must have high Critical. combo blow kill monster same speed as crossbow at end game. because i want to be a dagger rouge but want a easy start so i choose bow, and skip earlier stage dagger skill,it wont waste so much sp.

I show you how i built mine, dont follow my guide, change it up as you want to. Between levels 1-40 rogue crossbow, get the following skills.
Poison,
Crossbow extreme,
Long shot,
Power shot.

All of these need to be equal to your level.

And rapid shot level 1(use to lure giant or party monster).
Cleric learn-
faith level 2,
group heal level 1 (for early stage)
resurrection level 1(just to safe noob life),
extra sp goes to Dagger power up,
hawk eyes(for critical purpose),
Dagger Desperate,
Scud.

After lv40

Stop learning bow skills, and become a dagger rogue.
Go for-
combo blow,
prick,

party with 4/4 distribution, solo. you can earn alot. use crossbow extreme, save mp, hp and bolts (can start to get expensive). when you want to fight a gaint, change to cleric rod (crossbow extreme will auto disable) heal with group heal and use small potion, your hp should be full if you below lv25, you have alot if hp 2k plus, just kill it, and your hp wont below 50% if monster no critical, just drink hp pot with 15 second delay is enough.

Light Armor
make sure your armor is up to date. and find a good critical weapon or +X weapon, I don't suggest buying Seal weapons when you are low level, it is a waste.

I updated 5581's guide so it's easier to understand.

To 5581: I changed nothing in your guide, I just fixed some spelling errors and hard parts to understand. I had to delete one thing because I moved it to a closer part.

Now, my advice with these guide lines.

Changing to dagger rogue at level 40 is a really good idea, as this is where you power begins to increase.

As for training, I highly recommend not joining distribution parties. It may bring in a little money, bit if you destroy your weapons instead of selling them, you'll make tons of money. I recommend auto share parties that are all grouped up, as this is much faster. If you're soloing, don't try to kill a giant.

you still can solo a giant with same lv or higher 1 lv then you, but not higher then 2 lv(too hard). you will gain rich exp and gold, depend how you train, for me is.


go to a area with alot of general mobs, then use long shot 1 time, mobs will die instantly and kill it in far range, for my case i dont need to pick item cos i got gold piG ^^. so i train it very fast by solo.
