Redesign of the forums following release of Europe Expansion

Post by Brett »

Hey, I've been browsing these forums for a while, and just decided to create an account today. It seems like the forums are suffering from a lack of organization due to the release of the expansion.

It would be great, in my opinion, to see the forums (at least the character skills and guides/tutorials forums) be split into two different sections - one for euro, and one for china.

I think this would reduce a lot of the confusion and make for much more productive discussion.

Some games even split their forums by class, as is the case with the new euro expansion. It would be awesome to see:

Cleric
Bard
Rogue
Warlock
Warrior
Wizard
(did i forget any?)

I think if the forums were reorganized, there would be a lot more good discussion and it would make the browsing experience and the finding of information a lot more painfree an reasonable.

Let me know if anyone has any additions or other suggestions that could make this idea even better!

Trying to do that for the C&S guides sticky ^^ cept no one's written a lot of those guides. As for individual sections, that's not necessary, it just saves a LOT of time for browsers to reply rather than search individual forums and clicking everywhere.

Sure it's not necessary, but its highly beneficial if they want more posters and more users, with more useful content being discussed.

I find it easier to skim through topics rather that keep clicking for different forums
It usually agrivates me when i have to click multiple times for one thing

@ above
Which is what I'm saying, completely agreed. If you want specific discussion about a particular class than just include it in the title. Makes it easier on users who may not be your class but still have comments, they do not have to go especially and search for a thread.

Potential reorganization is up for discussion.

Exactly how, would need to be decided.

Im not sure about individual class forums, but Im not about a simple "Everything euro here" forum either.

I mean, general discussion is just that - everything to be discussed, whether Euro or not.
