Dual Wep Str Build?

Post by kumori »

Well, I was bored of just being a glaiver... so i started thinking about having a dual wep build blade/glaive

1. Is there a good macro program?

2. Has anyone actually tried this before O_o?

3. Wheres the best place to farm for a lvl 3X full str glaiver

4. What do you think would be the best combo?

5. Can you still switch to shield if someone KDed u? (Would be great if i could block some stabs or some extra def for stabs)

6. Whats the best way to pk someone who kd + stabs alot?

7. Ice or Fire imbue (am probably not gonna be getting to lvl cap anything soon and people around mid-lvl won't rly have ice immune so ice for slowing or fire for extra dmg?)

8. Ok, am done :D

Dual wep isn't for everyone imo, now to answer your questions.

1. Most people use practice, no programs, at least thats how I do it.
2. Of course.
3. Lvl 42 at Bungwangs?
4. Don't understand the question.
5. Yes, people do it all the time.
6. Depends.
7. Take fire, it's gonna be your main tree anyway so just stick with the imbue.

Do you like bow? Instead of going dual wep you could try using bow, i've found bow builds level fast and are fun to play.

1. Don't use other programs...hand grind, ftw.

2. Yep

3. Low 3x - scorps/flowers, mid - ongs, high 3x - black robber archers, bowman, etc

4. as STR, stick with the soul spear, ghost spear, heuksal spear series and to aggro mobs the spear chuck move (flying dragon). You can also use 3 hit combo.

5. yes, timing is everything.

6. turn pink and freeze them while they're mobbed...once their pills run out the mobs will do them in. not worth going murderer on them.

7. Fire, fire, fire = pure str's best friend.

8. me too, and gl w/ your build :)

Aye I'm a dual wield Glaive/Blade Fire with Lightning as a sub (speed/buffs).

I don't use any programs, just make ur placements of the hotkeys comfortable... For me, I place glaive on bar 1 with my glaive skills on 0 and same with shield/sword on 9 and 0... Might be awkward for you, but works for me.. Since this game isn't a active mouse game during pvp, unlike WoW, you can jsut click ur target and blade/glaive switch away..

For kd-stabers, switch out ur shield when they stab, whip out ur blade too, Knock them down, stab, and imeddiety after (I do 2 stabs and after the last stab I switch right then to glave) hit them up with either a soul spear or a ghost spear (ghost spaer if u think they about to die) Works wonders

btw I am a lvl 72 pure STR and I use my build, or did use my build to help my guild in wars by delaying or basically "tanking" ppl like bowers or other bladers... (they were 80s.. and I can last about 4 times as long as a normal glaiver using my style)

For leveling, only use glaive, like the guy up said level on those mobs bla bla,

Fire Lightning Hueksal Bicheon = My build

Macro programs bite... I tried em... I switch the faster than these noob programs
