You can change your character's name?

I have noticed that on the official sro website, when you log in and go to your account info, the very last option read "change character's name". Now what does this mean? You can change a character's name even after creation? Because I was toying around with it and selected one of my characters and I logged back into the game and nothing happened. Can anyone explain this option to me?

it's for official forum it'll use ur char name instead of ur acocunt name

I think you're referring to the option where you can choose which of your character names you want to use when posting on the forums.

Once you create a character, you cannot change it's name, as far as I know.
