Do they play Euro? NO! So its not really a "who got friends" situation.
You are depending on others all the time, you have to team with random people who dont even know what they doing, thats why the Euro system sucks.

Uhmm, you can always solo...

You got a choice, sp farm at lower levels and be able to dual class... or go with single specialty and sp farm later for dual class...

You're really not limited to partying all the time, it's just easier with parties... You can still kill general monsters, in a xp distrib party, and solo all the way if you want, just like a chinese would...

I was lvl 20 grinding on lvl 34 mobs solo.....im a rouge and while it took more timing to do it solo its very easy to lvl solo....

I have to agree with you. After a year i came back to take a look at this expansion and was let down by it. While i was at work, i left the stall up. Doing what i did a year ago, selling elements, made a couple of mil . Thinking hmmm, what am i going to buy? Another sos set for my pure int or another shiny som sword. Whats the point. Linear like this is a bore.

And i hop into the new citys and yet again, mister powerleveler.com is in every city still doing what he does best, and yet they still let him with his bot inbred family running joyfully killing this game as ever.
monday is 2moons ob, i'll be there even if its linear also, its a new kind of linear.

wtf he talking about? everquest? don't think I ever heard of it could u give me a link to it? if sro wanted t group much they would have made chinese chars togroup with each other and if we grouped 2gether in china the we probably wouldn't get euro and probably would not be getting islamic chars(from what I heard lvl by summoning) so that proves that sro is a very unique game that's trying to give players a choice......if they want to solo, if they want to group, or if they want to.....summon monsters. and lockhart y are u always so negetive? and anyways I look smexy in my new theif suit^^

Seeing that from an '07er no less, the ignorance never cease to amaze me to say the least. Everquest happens to be one of the better, most successful MMORPGs to date (in the same league as Ultima Online [arguable], Dark Age of Camelot, Lineage II etc). Although p2p, it remains as a viable 'standard' of a title, for comparisons regardless if it's f2p or p2p.

The point here, the 'old school' of iSRO thinkers wouldn't wanna dwell too much on whacked out AD&D copy jobs such as Euro, when thematically (it's called Silk Road for a goddamned reason) the Chinese shouldn't have been gimped for any reason until the Arabs come. The point that Zarthos made was that if the rest of the more experienced MMORPG players had to be content with the 'same' race they'd already done with, there's more underlying concerns (issues/grievances take your pick) of what's gonna happen when ALL 'core' races comes into play.

Most came here for the storyline difference, hence the dilemma. Why would it be such a good thing to gimp 1 race, when all 3 is needed to complete the story?

I for one, do agree on that other post that touched on skills' diversity differences when compared to the Chinese. Even if Euros are blessed with the upper hand by default base calculations and shorter pot delays.

And basing things from what I'm testing out currently which is Granado Espada, I hope Joymax can come up with a solution/patch that can solve a particularly sickening issue. This new client is jacking shitloads of resources compared to the older Chinese days AND even against GE (which isn't funny at all, considering that iSRO is graphically inferior to that).

Guys, stop whining and learn to share! Share the kill, share the loot, share the responsibility! Learn to play as a team. My friends didnt play Euro and i still can get a descent party to lvl. Remember, in Euro it's not always about u. It's about the team, everyone have their own part to do. Do ur part, let others do theirs and u will be fine.

And who says u cannot solo in Euro? U just dont be too adventurous and try to tank mobs that u cannot tank. Play smart.

Anyone in Odin need Wizard/Cleric, do pm me. Lvl 24. And please.. ITEM AUTOSHARE for god sake!

Currently playing on Persia so I have no idea how hard or easy it is to find a co-ordinated party on the other servers.

Things I like: The party system (when you can get a group together that actually works together as a team).
Things I dislike: The party system (Not everyone speaks the same language or lives in the same country, so sometimes it's nearly impossible to find a party that works together as a team).

But in the end, I am having fun and enjoying euro.

Sounds like some players don't know to avoid a roaming party mob when playing solo. In china I can grind any party mob solo just takes a little longer, but not in euro, those party mobs kick my solo arse. BTW I am str, if you are INT just get used to dying a lot.

I hate repetitive grinding in China. Somethings interesting happen in Europe.

Its 15 seconds (The owner must be scared of being pwned by our facts).

PT grinding in Europe (Killing maybe 5+ higher level mobs) is a lot faster than killing 600 Chakji. Also A party mob has about the same or a bit more hp than a regular chinese mob. But party mobs drop 1k coins at level 12, 1.5k coins at level 20, and are just as easy to handle as regular chinese mobs.

If i wanted a repeitive grinding game I would have played WoW or Runescape already.

Funny thing about people who powerlevel their characters 24/7....

They don't truly know how to play their character. Sure, they've got all the skills maxed, but what good does it do if you don't have a strategy to fight? I'm a level 28 Wizard / Cleric and I constantly solo fight orange mob giants just for the sake of practicing my build. I've learned how to survive. Heal myself on the run.... fear....root....freeze.

I've been killing 3x's a lot because they just powerleveled and had NO idea how to stay alive. They just nuke over and over or go invisible.

I'm not saying it's all that bad to powerlevel... I did it from 22 - 24 because I wanted to use my new staff before bed time xD. However, I actually enjoy party grinding. But when I can't find one, soloing is no problem either.

Kinda reminds me of the people who bought level 60 characters in WoW back in the day. Sure they were capped, but they had no idea how to play lmao.

I think once euros been out a while and ya dont have to rely on alot of npc's and random drops everyones damage and survivability will increase alot.

I play a wiz and didnt like any of the popular subs so i added warrior to wear the heavy armor...gotta say for soloin it saves ya alot of deaths. If anyone else doesnt have a sub they like and wants to solo i recommend it since most mobs are str.

As for why euro blows...id say ya should prolly give the game a chance since its been less then a week.

Fox if chinese were just starting out and had inferior gear like euros have now no chinese char would be taking a giant and 2 other mobs at once 6lvls above them either.

With my Wizard I one hit mobs 6lvl above me and thats using a +3 drop staff and no blues on my gear. Can any chinese do that with similar wep/gear----->nope

Gotta give it some time before you compare the races with eachother

Euro doesn't blow. But...

1 - players are too judgemental and haven't seen the balancing of skills due to party system.

2 - players constantly try to compare it to Chinese. It's not Chinese, that's apple and oranges. Each race has its own bonuses and drawbacks and has to be played properly to reap the maximum benefits.

3 - We are not even one week into the new characters and someone is already posting 'Euro blows' stuff. Give Euro a chance, see what happens when we get some 60+ Euro in the action. Then if you want to come back and post something like this, fine - you're entitled to your opinion.

$0.02, ftw.
