BSOD... help PLZ. [seems to be getting more frequent ;_; ]

Post by Krushrpants »

I was searching around a bit, and since I couldnt get a direct screenshot of it, here is a pic i snapped [sry its a bit blurry]
Image

Now, I JUST got this laptop... Acer aspire 5630, 2 gigs of ram, running windows XP media center, and it says im using Mobile Intel(R) 945GM/GU Express Chipset Family... [I can give more specs If necessary]. Ive gotten the newest graphics driver after I got this error the first time, and it worked a few times after that [maybe like 10.] Now, everytime I start up the game, I get this error after the gameguard comes up, and I have no idea how to fix it. :?

Now, whenever I start up again, it sends in the error report, and now everytime I send it in, It directs me to http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/Response.aspx/79/en-us/5.1.2600.2.00010100.2.0?SGD=56226575-143e-4bd4-a32f-baf4bcc7d609 <-- that page, which is even more "OMG I NEED TO PANIC NOW, IVE HAD THIS COMPUTER FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS"

There's probably some solution, but I dont know it. I dont want to do any major uninstalling or reinstalling windows, b/c its still under the inital 30 day warranty [and TBH, this is actually the second one of this computer Ive had, we sent the first one back because I got that error trying to install the client, and I didnt know it was even related to SRO]

And before I got the BSOD every time, I was getting the ???? ???? ?? Error frequently as well, I have no idea if the 2 are related.

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated... seeing as I guess I wont be playing now until it's fixed :( Thanks

The laptop came with 2 512gb sticks of ram, and I installed 2 new 1 gig sticks I had gotten. As It turns out, the one gig stick was screwed up... I simply switched it out with one of the 512's and havent gotten the error since. [If I get the BSOD again, Ill bump this, but as of now, its working] :D *feels like he accomplished something today*
