I haven't seen any of these disconnect problems that everyone seems to be having. Actually, the game has been running quite well for me. Just a thought for those of you having those problems: Before you installed the euro client, did you make sure to uninstall the original client? If not, perhaps there are left over files or something that are interfering with things.

Those of you on Vista... not sure, maybe Vista has XP compatibility features you could enable? *shrugs*

i agree with whoevver noted the constantinople lag. It lags my computer soo much..and i can max out on a 7600 GT...somethings wrong, tweaks need to be made..constantinople brings so much video lag.

I don't have a screenshot of it but I'm sure it's happened to a few others.

When you click to attack a monster/someone, sometimes you run up to them and stop in your tracks once you get to them and not attack them. Or you are attacking them and for some reason you just completly stop.

Then which I just move my charcter backwards and attack whatever again.

Yeah been annoying to me when Im fighting the "Party" monsters.

There is a discussion about SRO on Windows Vista in this SRF thread. The thread is a bit old, and is actually about Vista RC2, but it should still apply. The issue might not be Vista itself, but DX10. I thought I read somewhere that DX10 doesn't have backward compatibility with DX9.x. I don't know if you can downgrade Vista to DX9.x, or install DX9.x along-side DX10 or not, but it might be worth investigating.

Note: The thread above does have a link to a modified executable on a known botting site, so please do NOT use that .exe. I just posted the thread because I thought the rest of the discussion might help.

Mods might want to go in and clean that thread.

I'm in that screenshot (academy chat). As for the issue, I had the same thing when I first installed, just change the language to English at start up.

hmm, I've windows Vista Ulitmate and sro works well...
but xp is much better, i have 20-30 fps with vista and 50-60+ fps with xp

well i really wanna play euro and i couldnt get the torrent thing to work so i downloaded the client from fliefront but it didnt work so i did some research and i had to install it in safe mode i reboot and got to open client i get server inspection and also it says ver 1.111 in safe mode and when rebooted it says ver1.114 people have said check ur host file and i have someone said it might a bot program never botted so i need help heres some screen shots of my problem plz help me

I had the same problem, but I think I found the solution for it. Apparently there's something wrong with the new belt, cause when I put something in it and try to teleport after that, I get disconnected. I just left that belt empty and the teleport is running fine.

-game freezes when teleporting with Guide guy in constantinople
-random crashes
-huge lag in constantine
-same mobs are sometimes aggro sometimes not
-the mysterious blue area box
-and lots of more cant remember them all now

now chinese:
-if wearing pvp cape you can attack rogue that transformed into guy next to him that was pvping , and after you attack him youre murderer.. dono why but im pretty sure this is messing up the game system pretty much.. just imagine you're pvping and your splash damage hits rogue that transformed into guy next to him and all the sudden you're murderer
-extra skill slot not saving skill positions
-random crashes on teleport or just during grinding
-cannot login although servers are populated and i have premium (it says disconnected)
-really annoying academy chat window position , cant use PM name window
-and much much more , cant remember all

I still ahve these 3 problems

-game crashes if im in town about 4 minutes
-i cannot open my alchemy tab
-i cant open my autopot tab

and i freakin hate it...

the "mysterious blue box" is supposed to tell you when you enter a new area, but they havn't added the text -.-

you can move the academy chat window.

I don't know if anyone found this out too, but as long as you don't use the quick bar, don't put anything on it, you won't d/c while teleporting (or using ferries).

Also, in relation to the downloaded client, if you want a direct transfer (through aim or gchat, I can help you with that).

But yeah, the pot things is really annoying.

I LOVE the new quest feature though. I've been farming in the caves at 54 for my nuker and now I can actually do quests instead of random killing. Yays!

And also, I didn't know this before, but there are quests in Jangan for euro characters. I most definitly like this. (I dislike Constantinople and the area...). China ftw.

Also when tryin to make a harmony therapy circle inside the caves game crash

Me & friends were makin like 5 of them inside the room before and we werent gettin attacked by ak-mobs which was pretty fun and helpfull.

Yup...you can post all the bugs which have crept through with the EURO update.

Looks like Joymax's done it again..Major Update with Major Bugs.

I found quiet a lot of bugs:
1. Whenever i enter a city or sometimes other areas...A huge semi-transparent blue kinda thing cover the top of the screen for a short while.

2. Game's crashed like three times since the update came..Once in Hotan..Once in Constantinople and once when I was teleporting.

3. The worst bug of all..My Blade's crit dropped and shield's BR dropped too :@.

Thats all I could find for now because the game crashed and I'm not bothered getting into it until the bugs are fixed.

Anothe other bugs please tell us

Well im not shore if this is a bug or not. but everytime i try to get on i type in my id pw then i wait and it takes like 30 secs to give me the verification then it sits there for about 2 mins then says Failed to conect C9. WTH? this happen to anyone?

I heard the crashes are caused by items in that transparent box, I haven't put any items in it and I haven't crashed as much yet when I teleport.

I found a new bug, you press sit, and you use a horse, no cursor will come out and you totally can't moved, when you unmount your horse you will found that you are sitting. just wasted my gold.......

Mine is cooler

Make sure that you can NOT type into the message box. Else this won't work. Hold down the left (<-) or right (->) key [can be up (/\) if you wanna run]. Now click with one hold down key into the message box where you normaly type. Whe you release the key the character should be still rotating. Now open a stall and voila! A rotating stall!
