Listen up, when I'm racing, speeding, or pretty much driving in general I'm much more concentrated, focused, and able to adapt quicker that 90% of people are capable of doing. I do not talk on the cell phone when driving, and if I do, I pull over.

And this matters why? One car that you couldn't see, or one person that wasn't wearing reflectors, and you've very possibly just killed someone. Someone who is racing is disrespecting everyone else on or near the road. I don't care how good you are, how awesome your car is, it doesn't take much for your car to run off the road and burst into flames, really, look at NASCAR. It's very well controlled, cars are professionally engineered, drivers have YEARS of experience, and you STILL see them get in crashes all the time. The reason they usually walk away is because they have very good safety measures which you do not.

And again, you don't know this. One person with their tail lights out, or with their car dead on the side of the road, or one person walking along could easily be a victim.

If you want people to respect you or give you credit, do Parkour, or off roading, or mountain climbing, or bungee jumping- something that won't kill someone else when you **** up.

Masta, I love ya hun but you've got to look at it like this. Feba was right about the nascar thing. They have great cars, they're in a controlled environment, and people STILL get killed. It doesn't matter how good you are, skilled you are, and how much attention you pay to things while you're driving. You can get someone killed regardless and that's why it's best to JUST NOT RACE. Like I said in my previous post, when you race, you're handling other people's lives no matter how much skill you have.

I think everyone has different views about racing. I agree with what youre sayin Itonami but i'm getting annoyed by people saying street racers are idiots and kids. I have been over 160mph in my brothers car with him driving, but we could not have harmed anyone else as it was night and on a large road, with only one car behind us (who was a friend so he knew what we were doing), and if other people were there we wouldnt have done it. The only way we could of got hurt is if something with the car went wrong (which isnt likely as its a performance car), but this would be a freak accident, there is a chance of that everywhere in life.

Remember, racers arnt necessarily these people with crappy cars racing in the streets, and people should stop flaming people who enjoy driving fast as the driver is generally in control unless they push it to a level where it is just stupid. So guys.. dont flame and judge people when you dont know exactly what youre saying. (I'm not adressing this just about masta but about racers in general btw).
