Were having the same questions. Something else that also crossed my mind was if you shared the amount of kills and drops that are required for quests (chinese characters)? I haven't made a european character yet, but I understand that they do this (though correct me if I'm wrong).

Well, ive only tried this once, and my experience so far is...

Exp per kill isnt too much more. Party mobs gave me about 3-4times the exp of a normal mob (compared to if i was in a 4 man). To really take advantage of this, you need a near full pt...so you can take the pt mobs out as fast as possible. If you have 4 groups of 2 for example (making a full 8 man), running around killing everything, i dont believe that would be as effective as everyone on the same mob, making you able to kill many more mobs in the same, or a lesser timespan.

I would probably also recommend not fighting the mob you are used to, but 1 or 2 tiers below that mob (so im on generals for example, so i would go for mages, or hunters\snipers) because when a giant pt mob shows up, a general for example, it will take even 8 people a good amount of time to kill it...wasting a lot more pots and arrows (if applicable) and not showing a significant increase in EXP or SP.

I did not notice the increase in drop rate. I was out for a few hours with a near full pt...and i personally didnt get anything. There was maybe 2-3 drops total, but thats possible with just a regular grind session.

About the quest drops. I killed a few mobs and they dropped a quest item for another person in my pt. I couldnt pick it up cause it didnt have my name one it, but they dropped none-the-less.

This is just what i have seen so far...it might not be totally accurate. But the weekend is coming, so i will have a lot of time to play around.

me and a irl friend made a 2/8 party and grinded bunwang party mobs & regulars (me lvl 42 him lvl 43)

it was alot more fun and i think it was faster grinding but it sucks to party up if you
are on a drop quest + like Ellis said the lack of drops.

Well I stayed logged in long enough to go out grinding, and I joined a pt at the yetis. My guess is that the xp gain is about the same when compared to a 4person party. I really don't know because I usually grind in the caves, so these were lower level mobs.

It is great how there is always a mob to kill. And party giants are very cool.

The item drop rate is the same or maybe a bit lower. The alchemy drop rate is horrible. after 1.5 hrs of grinding I had maybe 2 of each alchemy items.

I haven't seen anyone ask yet, but what happens if your party gets a sosun64 weapon drop? You kill the mob and it gets distributed to someone else? Or you leave the pt and then pick it up. Its rare, but I am sure this could cause serious issues.

Last night GlaviesGirl share party in euro got a sos drop. At low level its no big deal. I remember when someone left a union over a item drop in a share party while doing monster scrolls.

Also I would think share parties benefits the bladders the most and maybe hurts the nukers in XP gain.
