Exp gained

Post by amorjogo »

This might be a noobish question, but heck it's full of them here, right :D

Ok this is my situation: I'm level 18 (recently) and I'm fighting tigers with my glavie (the best one you can buy in Jangan city) and black tigers for exp... I'm doing like 90 dmg every hit (without any magic) and I'm getting 0,2 % exp (even less) for every tiger I'm killing.

This seems extremely low, knowing that I should kill 500 tigers to raise one level... Also compared to my brother I'm doing extremely low damage to these tigers... Any explanations for that ?

I'd love for some experienced players to give me their opinions...

Thanks in advance !

Nope, i'm a full strength character... Which makes it even more strange...
Is it normal that it takes me like 5 hits to kill a mob 4 levels lower than me :s I don't think that's correct...

your brother has probably;

- more blue on his gear
int and str on your gear will increase damage

- his glavie has higher plus stats or even higher % damage
always make sure your weapon has high phy % and good crit npc weapons are a waste of gold.

- smaller gap
difference between his level and the level of his heuksal and other masteries

- use imbue (magic)

- buff

be glad you are getting 0,2 that is kinda a lot compared to the 0,02 you willl get at higher level on gap 0.

So getting 0,2 is rather an acceptable amount of exp on my level...
That's the most important issue here... I think it's low, since I'm only lvl 18...

Well I can use magic, which increases my dmg up to 150 or so...But then again, I'm pure str, so I don't have much magic I can use ;)

:banghead: by resting you lose precious grind time, that way you will never level.
buy pots and grind, grab the drops, you will never be out of mp/hp/money when you grind, only thing you need to learn is what mobs to grind on
and once again that o,2 is a "enough" to consider your leveling speed as fast

i had same problem, you get used to slow levels. for level 18 though try killing chakjis. just take HP and MP pots so you dont have to keep sitting down.

full strength isn't suppose to do more damage

INT's do more strength

you are just slapping them with/without imbue, you should get some skills and maybe look for a lvl 18 glaive in stalls or stall network ;)

0,2% is more then enough for your lvl. But, if you wanna lvl faster. get skills, lvl 18 glaive, white tiger skin quest, hp/mp pots and do that quest. Skins drop bout 1 skin 2/3 tiger so it goes pretty fast and the xp reward is nice ;)

getting 0.20% is alot! at lvl 42 you get 0.04% with a 0 gap and killing mobs 3 lvls higher than you!

the reason you are doing so low dmg is probably because you dont use skills or your weapon really blows ^^

you use the rest button?? OMG

I guess your not used to MMO grinding. :D

I will lay it out for you. Very simple and efficient, and it pays off at highers lvls. Buy 500 MP herbs OR small pots. Buy 200 HP small pots.
Buy a horse.
Repair all your equips.
Buy a monkey <-- a must
Buy a wolf. If you have the cash or silk.
Ride to your training place.
USE IMBUE and SKILLS.
Keep your glaive skills up to date.
keep your fire imbue up to date.
Keep grasswalk to a decent lvl.
Grind on white mobs which are easiest to kill.

Have fun :D That is the grinding guide lol. BTW dont waste time resting lol unless you want to be lvl70 in the next 10 years.
