Joymax' AntiBot Patches, what to expect?

When you're going to read this you could expect a lengthy column, wether it be a rant on the antibot patches when you're a full time botter or when you're the type of guy that buys loads of gold from goldselling companies that now are facing difficulties to even log on their goldbots. Ever since the Legend I update, Joymax has been bringing out anti-bot patches on a frequent basis.

Face it, iSRO has been improved for the better. People have always been complaining on how the huge amount of goldbots virtually destroyed their fun at grinding lower level area's. Always been sick and tired of players botting their character to the levelcap and 24/7 farm sp while you're working hard for it? The problem has now (at time of writing) become almost non existent, the botprogram developers are ofcourse working hard to adapt their services to the new patches but they're facing a daunting task to keep everything up to date and keep their customers happy at the same time with all those frequent anti-bot patches. Sure people might still be able to bot once in a while and maybe in the near future they could be back at it in full, but as it now it does look like a clean environment.

So what could we expect from Joymax now? The premium ticket was mostly aimed for the hardcore audience and the addicts, just because of the special feature that allows you to log into the game regardless of server traffic. Now that the bot population and the server traffic has been greatly decreased, the PT doesnt seem that usefull anymore (except for the extra benefits such as defence increase etc).

Should Joymax upgrade their Premium Ticket and motivate the botting population to reconsider their position and start grinding manually again? They already introduced the SP ticket, which sole purpose is to boost the gain in skill experience points (now its easier plus way more fast to farm and max out your skills). Shouldn't Joymax either upgrade the Premium Ticket to boost levelup experience by, for say 150%? Or simply introduce a whole new Ticket that raises levelup experience by another 100%? The premium ticket needs more allure with Legend I released and servers being easy accessable. With the 90 cap on our doorstep, it would be mighty fine if the manual grind could be a whole lot easier thus making the game a bit more fun then your usual brainless grind.

What about the goldbots? Sure the gold selling companynetworks have lots in reserve untill they figure out how to get their little bots back into the game and start collecting gold again, but what if those frequent antibot patches keep coming? Should Joymax implement a new feature into their Item Mall, where one could trade Silk for Gold? Sure the ones willing to invest serious cash will become rich but thats the thing about it: MONEY. Lets say that you could buy 500 silk and trade that all at a certain NPC and gain 75 till 100million gold in return? If Joymax can keep away the goldbotting network, they could be getting serious money out of such a feature. Yeah ofcourse they'd also consider the game's economy and keep inflation at a low, so a limit should be in place to keep that in order.


Surely the majority might not agree with the "Silk-for-Gold" subject, but having a whole new experience ticket would be greatly beneficial for both us and Joymax. Why bot if grinding becomes a whole lot easier, and now with Legend I out and more Legends to follow it also is more enjoyable.

The anti-bot patches dont work. There are working bots already as I write this.

Being able to buy gold from item mall is a stupid idea. This has been brought up before, and if you understand how ccf works, you will know that the economy of any server will be more stuffed up than it already is (at least theres a limit of gold on any gold selling site that a ccfer/hacker can mine).

Wait, dont ccf.

How about do this instead. Say you could buy gold from item mall right.. Then make an account, buy lots of silk using paypal, then buy gold. Transfer to your main account, then do a chargeback on that paypal purchase. Keep doing this and you'll be rich.

buying gold for silk = non silk buying players cant afford anything. Inflation goes up dramatically. Noobs can get incredibly rich with a CC. CC fraud will go up. A lvl 80 player without a cc wont EVER be able to afford any sox items. Ive made a rant about how bad this idea is earlier. Wont work.
