The SRF Union: Part I - Guilds

Its at http://www.srfunion.info I'm skrewing up with it, because its basically time for my final exam now. Like in a week so I'm trying to balance myself. I haven't got the chance to even install new SRO yet.

I think what I'll do is get the forum up and ready and use php to create custom pages instead of using a CMS.

You're right. I've only moved the OLD forums there though. Haven't configured the appropriate groups, haven't imported database ts still the old layout.

Don't say anything. YET.

It WILL have a new style, it WILL have custom guild pages, let me finish class first T_T

chaosfaction is lvl 2 so yeah you guys catch up lol ;p and we started trade runs and were really excited to start up a huge union trade soon i hope

.....I've been discussing how it should be done all along. All we need is some guild recruitment pages and a forum.

So

1) CMS + Forum
2) Forum only there are forum templates to make the pages
3) HTML/CSS/Flash + Forum

I like it either way.

But, Nemesis is lvl 2. So which guild will be the Union Leader?

and Milly, let me know when you are on so we can start the Union, unless you want to wait for KeyJ's guild.

I'm on all the time. I'm Mystia =) Lets talk in game how we should get the union started. The other forum is private so it should be for union only stuff too. The whole SRF can't know our secrets xD

im not sure..i think you have to log in as the chinese character and take yourself out..

Yeah, we have a few spots left.

So IgsTer and anyone else who gas contacted me, send me a message in game and I'll try to invite you all. It doesn't hurt to have a few back ups. You can also send a message to Lavi or Lyric.

Its like XFIRE but better, and you can host your own lag free chat room which is as good quality as ventrilo if not better. there are many locations to pick from to host the room and when its hosted it never goes away unless you choose to shut it down, even if tehres no one in it it stays up. exactly like a vent server! and its totally FREE, no advertisements either..
People give it a try and maybe it can become the new meeting place for SRF members?

sorry couldnt get on over the weekend hellion..my new computer arrived friday and i had to put it together..only finished this morning..

You can add Softies to the union guilds.. Also i'll be (trying to) work(ing) on a site.. (Both for softies in particular and the whole union, i'll see how it works out)
