Hybrid bows/pure bows

Just wondering after the update, how are the bows doing?

I myself never had problems with nukers, but now have some problems ^^. Glaviers are easier to kill, cause they need to come up close and the kb solves most of that crap.

I really love the knockback, i am even more usefull in group fights then I was before =|
I dont have the stun yet, and it prob will be a while before I get it.

Well I only did some grinding for about an 40min. I spent the rest of my time on my crappy lvl 12 crossbow char.

Anyway at lvl 57 I don't get any cool effects. The new strongbow takes about the same amount of time as an antidevil. Which is definitely a nice change.

The butterfly skill, Is pretty cool, but does very low damage. Useless for grinding for me since I like to grind on red mobs, and I want as few on me as possible. It might make the lightning nuke I use on trades obsolete. It is going to be perfect for 1 shotting low level npc theives. It seems to target mobs in a 360 deg. radius so it should work very well.

I also have the new Ice shield, and it works, but overall impression is ehh. I mean if you have castle shield it seems much more impressive, of course this lasts longer. I am not sure if I would base my entire build off of it though like a lot of people are planning to do.

Well, i got my bow skills completely farmed to 71, and updated a few skills in lightning before i ran out of SP. I wasnt really ready for this update at all, but still welcome it.

New Anti-Devil = stellar. The extra crit increase does wonders.

Mind Bow = pretty sweet. As glavie said, its pretty weak, but lures like a dream. I find it really effective to use when zerking cause it has enough pop to take the mobs im grinding down to half...more if it crits. So a lil more exp\sp while taking out the giant

StrongBow = Shortened time is a godsend. It is no longer too time consuming to use in a regular grind routine.

I cant wait to get all the new skills, but its going to be quite some time to farm what i need. My plan is probably to just farm what i need to get to 76, then over time, 4 gap the rest of the SP i need while still being able to enjoy the majority of the new skills.

All in all, yesterday was a lot of fun...i can already feel the arthritis kickin in though

Does anyone use bezerker when grinding now?
Does anyone use bezerker in pvp?

I noticed in undutchable videos that he uses 2 books of anti-devil, strongbow, and arrow combo in pvp.

don't play the game just like everyone else, if you want to use berzerker, use it.

it does take the longest to cast now, and no crit increase, but if it crits it carries its own AR increase and that hurts like shit.

its also stronger than all the antidevils and arrow combo.

Actually I don't use bezerker arrow which is why I am asking If anyone else still uses it. I plan to stop leveling the skill.
Since I am int hybrid I use light nuke when grinding, which seems to work well.

I don't have any of the last books yet, so I was wondering what the higher levels thought about it.

I am using berserker, I just use it like I used to use strongbow. Cast it as first and dont repeat it in the middle of a fight.
