after download Euro SRO most of my text are now squares, i've downloaded the updated drivers for Direct x and ATI drivers, and then re entered the game, results are the same.

as you can see from the picture not all the text are squares.

i figured out how to fix it, it's the new fonts for euro.

anyways, the way to fix it is by deleting silkcfg.dat and SilkRoadGlobal.ini from your silkroad directory.

Then the new fonts will go back to the original SRO fonts :) .

P.S. if you dont want to delete those files, just moved the somewhere else. :wink:

Where in the silkroad folder can u find the directory as i have this same problem Please help as am unable to play till its sorted 3 downloads have turned out this way..im going mad :shock:

Just do this - simpler way.

Close silkroad.


Open the launcher, but DON'T click launch.

On the launcher, click options.

Change the language to german/turkish, then click OK. Go back into options (make sure you memorized where the buttons are) and change your language back to english, and click OK. Your text should now be normal.

the silkroad directory is usually in in the My Computer Icon, double click that, and it should be in C:\

and if its not in C:\

look for the Programs Files Folder , and look for the silkroad directory in there.
