Invisible mobs...?

At first I thought it was just massive lag... but I figured out it wasnt.

I go to the b-robbers den, on the eastern bridge, thinking "Wow... no one's going to be at Uruchi when he spawns" While crossing the bridge... nothing starts attacking me. Yes... thats right. NOTHING. No mobs around me... so I run back off the bridge and it stops. I go back in [b/c at this point I thought it was still lag] and it happens again. <_<

I have no idea what the deal is... but it would appear as though more than 1 "invisible monster" was attacking me with how fast the damage was going up

Is there something Im missing with the update here?

I've had a similar thing happen to me a few times. I think it is when a mob gets stuck behind an object, like a tree, but is somehow still in range to hit you!
If you look around (providing you don't die! ) you may find a mob stuck somewhere.
