hemagoku and 139022 REALLY need to shut up. Do NOT use this thread as means to beg for gold from people. You are trying to take advantage of a really unfortunate thing that has happened. I suggest you leave the thread immediately.

To Sui. Sorry to hear about the re-hacking. If you don't feel any motivation left, play Euro with us and let us renew it

I went through something similar as you are right now in a different MMO, so I can relate to some of the feelings you have expressed so far in this thread: desperation, anger, sadness, etc. I realise i'm not you and that our experiences are different, but have you considered yet the possibility that this is a blessing?

I know that letting go is hard. I know firsthand the work that goes into being a level 80 fully farmed legit. I also know that you have a vast network of friends and people you care for, and that care about you. But I also know that in the end it's the journey that counts. Fact is, from what you have expressed to me, you have a professional life outside of SRO, and a damned good one. Have you at least considered just letting go? Your life has many more things in it than this stupid game. Many more things that you know deep down are far more important.

The initial argument here will always be "then the hacker wins". But hackers never win. As long as that character is under hacker control it will never be able to xp, job, or do much of anything without a hoard of peops making his/her every moment in SRO hell.

Joymax gave us all the shaft a long time ago. There is no "war on bots." All they have really done in the 1.5+ years that I have seen you online is given us higher prices for a bad community and piss poor service, with the same repetitive gameplay. If they gave a shit about you at all they'd have already resolved this issue and given you your secret answer. But to them all you are is another number. At some point the game starts playing the player, and Joymax is fully aware of this.

Please don't misunderstand the point i'm trying to make here, because no matter what the decisions you make, they will ultimately be your own. I only want to offer a different perspective on this that I have yet to see come up in this thread: consider what's happened a blessing and be happy for the good times you had and the people you have met, and move on. I want you to do whatever it is that makes you happy, so long as you are considering all of the possibilities.

Good luck, and my apologies for the size of this post. I could't think how to express this any differently.

to clarify:

i did not change my password. i cannot remember my secret answer at this point. JM refused to assist me in recovering my account. i no longer have the trojan on my computer which allowed the hacker to do this, i made sure of this.

@Cormac: thank you. i have been thinking this for a bit now. maybe you are right.

I don't think thats wise heh.
Just leave it as it is, register a new acc and play euro until u get your secret ans sorted out.

Chargeback will mean you need to do extra work to make your account active again.

P.S. From JM's perspective, they will see it that. 1st this acc owner ask for help, then he do a chargeback. They might just proceed to ban you for a non revokable 100 years.

Exactly how does a keylogger work? You install it and then when you login it logs the keystrokes or what?

OT: Im really sorry for you loss. I also got hacked. The hacker sold everything I had EXCEPT for my SOS glavie. He leveled up my 9 gap and so on. Atleast you got your char left, gear you can always find. I bet alot of people will help you out. Lets just hope Joymax can help you out with the account!

its very simple. Programs runs in the background. Check the system when sro_client.exe is running. Keylogging until the user pressed enter. Uploading it to a server. And the "hacker" has your info.
