That's not funny, just stupid... not to mention they don't even know the damn story.

Spoiling something is just plain wrong, *especially* when a lot of fans have been reading it since they were little kids :banghead:

Because they've been following the story for a decade now. It's a story, you get caught up in the adventure- it's no fun if you already know what's going to happen.

There's no reason to spoil someone except to show that you A- Are an asshole, and deserve to be lit on fire alive, and B- That you're incapable of making a proper prank, so you just have to make people feel like shit instead of using your head.

SRSLY, There are AWESOME pranks, spoiling something is just retarded- and you're retarded if you find this funny, as well.

A good prank, no. A good prank is getting a friend to believe there's a massive zombie infestation, and driving them 50 miles out of town before you tell them the truth. They get pissed, you take them out for milkshakes, you laugh about it the next day. A good prank does *not* be an asshole just for the sake of being an asshole, and a good prank *does* take at least a little bit of intelligence to come up with. There's nothing funny about screaming the plot of a story to people that haven't heard it yet, it's just Farking rude.

LOTR books was 10 times the story Harry potter is.

Just that kids can read harry potter and it is simpler you don't have to be great at reading comprehension to enjoy the book.

yes it is sad how its turned into brand on this much we agree but it is! good book i cant say its as good as LOTR becouse they simply cant be compared but i can tell u this i read at least 5 more book that are copyes of LOTR or story goes same way....never ever read one like HP

Do people like being assholes? I don't get it. And if you dislike Harry Potter, you don't need to force your point onto other people and ruin it for them. It's extremely sad that people need to do things like this to get a laugh.

And @ whoever said something about another book copying LOTR. Oh dear, LOTR was a copy of something much older, we like to call it the Epic tale combined with legends and tales told from generation to generation.

Your problem is that you've been so farked up by people that think THIS is a a funny prank that you don't know what a real prank is. A real prank takes thought, humour, and a delicate sense of not going too far. This is just assholishness.

I've never ONCE heard of someone who was pissed off at a good prank years later, I've heard of plenty of people that wish they could knock the shit out of people for doing shit like this.
