IP Ban??

Post by Wispy »

I have the same problem as other people here listed on the site:

-I cannot access http://www.silkroadonline.net
-My SRO client says it is undergoing server inspection and cannot open
-I CAN access the sro website using a proxy
-This all started when the bot ban update came out the other day, the client worked that day, then I dced and haven't been able to log on since
-I have never had this problem before this current update of SRO's

I have also recently purchased Silk and started a new premium ticket and I am very irate. I would complain about this on the official website but, as I stated, I cannot access it and it appears they do not have an e-mail address with which to send technical issues.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

As I expected, seems that only people using Shaw are experiencing the problem, someone have already reported this to shaw it should be fixed sometime or after tomorrow. I have this problem also and I think it's not an IP ban just wait it out. :D Don't worry I'm more frustrated than you.

Oh wow, Shaw huh? Thanks for the info. I think I'll call and bitch at them for a bit just for good measure! :banghead:

I wonder if I can get them to reimburse me for my premium ticket wasted days :?

16 minutes? I waited for almost an hour and the "internet technical support agent" was more useless than my mom, who btw is not entirely sure how to use hotmail 90% of the time.

PS. I love my mom, she's just computer illiterate

If SHAW doesn't get this fixed ASAP its back to Telus I go. Do I hate Canada? Or do we just have crappy technology? WHAT IS THIS??
