- HELP ME! - (I Have Windows Vista) Please Read!!!

Hello,
Can someone please help me with this problem,
basically this morning 20/07/07 i clicked SRO client on my desktop and see theres a update ...

- Regarding bot block & connection problems -
As normal the 2 purple bars start loading accross...... but when i get to 100% i get 2 boxes which say.....

BOX 1 :- Update temp-file[C:\Program Files\Silkroad\TempPath\SRO_Client.exe] os damaged. please try again .
BOX 2 :- after pressing ok to box above a another box appears saying
:- Update failed with error_code[7]

-Now i happen to have windows vista home premium which might be the problem.. but my question is....
- how can i make it so the update works without the boxes saying it has failed, without this update being complete i cannot play SRO.

Try to run with Administrator rights. It seems like you dont have to right Temp files. Dont know why though.

this is my computer, im the only 1 who uses it, so i have all rights i guess.

I clicked the link you sent me and put silkroad on firewall checked for undates and then restarted my computer. it still comes yp with same 2 boxes at 100% of the update. PLEASE HELP

i think i fixed it
you know the compatabilty welll there was a box unticked which was the privalege level of admin...

I HAVENT FIXED IT LOL now for some reason when i log on grr its really hard to explain and really annoying.... my character was really glitchy and then it was donig the thing where you log into where you see your character then it just disconnects
im going to try sort it out and re-install the sro client =( hate vista lol

Try to make a clean install. Remove you Silkroad from your computer due the deinstall option. THen delete everything, inclusive the map silkroad (if it still exists)

Restart your PC And then try to reinstall the game. Everything should go automaticly.

i re-installed the program and got it worknig again
SRO europe is out know im downloading through torrent lol XD
