lol yeh, but im not complaining about ppl jobbing, i just got my thiefing to lvl 3 and im wanted with 8k arrange points :S hope nobody finds me
and i hope botters dont return, it looks like the new update is server based and client too, so it will be alot harder to trick the server into thinking you using a non abnormal client

11/21/2006: Information on Client Altering Prevention Function
Hello. This is Silkroad Online.
Silkroad Online is adding a new function, to protect our users’ personal information, and to provide smooth gaming experience.
When the client runs, this function detects whether or not the client has been altered, thus our users will be able to play the game with the proper client. This helps prevent personal information from being widely spread that can happen under altered clients, and will also block portion of illegal game plays. It may be impossible to block all sorts of illegal game play through preventing client alteration. However, through continuous GM activity, we will try our best to provide our users with smooth gaming experience.
Once the client altering prevention function is added, it will check the client every time the client is run, and when it detects that the client has been hacked or damaged, a warning message will appear, and a pop-up window will instruct our users to reinstall the client.
If a reinstallation pop-up window appears, please uninstall Silkroad Online completely through program add/remove. When the game is reinstalled through the client downloaded at our web site, the game will be activated normally.
We ask for our users understanding and support for this client altering prevention function, which will help block illegal attempts in advance.
Thank you.
So **** you.

btw so many ppl jobbing cuz they cant bot, its ridic.
very true. some of you fail to realize that the bot companies have a bigger staff then JM does. they have programmers working day and night =\
they'll prove JM wrong again
also zelzin, with an altered client you can probably stop it from checking if its altererd. the thing is, will JM know if it wasnt checked?

who says they won't be able to log-in. This update will only effect those with hacked clients. There are bot progs out there that get around this issue *ahem* isro *ahem* - the makers of isrobot are already making a complient client for their bot. It's only a matter of time guys. Get used to it. Botters are here to stay...maybe we'll have a decrease in numbers for a short while though.

You know I beleive Joymax should update this sort of thing every week.
It just did that 5 second scan on my charcters and I was like, "O no I hope they don't find anything stupid viriuses." But yay nothing!
So why not do this every week with just a new search with a bettter..bot..killer.
