finally GM's decide to ban bots on Odin server

there going around in there pimp blue armor and taking the bots out 1 by 1

this was in DW probably moving to hotan next. gotta go have fun wit da GM c ya

That is SO STUPID that they give out a warning to everyone! omg.

"Hey everyone!, Were going to have a mass bot inspection at 2007/7/20 11:00~12:30 Silkroad Standard Time (1 hour 30 minute duration) so turn off your bots for about an hr. After the inspection you can turn it back on, we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused your bot."

the new bots, like the one at 258.com dont even use a modified client so I don't know they would have to detect you tryin to connect to SRO through the bot server i guess?

Press print screen. And they seem to have banned a good number of bots since the servers are only populated and there are like 6 pages for the party match, which must mean more players are getting on.

Gnome-screenshot doesn't take that long. It's only around 1-2 second wait for me. BTW this is about screenshot program on Ubuntu Linux. Maybe adding Load "Record" in Section "Module" in xorg.conf might speed things up? Or enable AGP Fast Write + SBA.

As to ddcc, any slowness is too slow =/ I don't want to press a button...then wait for a window to come up, then save it, I just need to configure it to save a screenshot to a directory without bugging me, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now :p

They just shut down the servers for the "Extra Inspection" which is going to be bot banning http://www.silkroadonline.net/ first news update
