isro will seriously mess up the banning and ban LOTS of ppl using pk2 edit instead of botters

What if someone plays from a web cafe which has bot installed but doesn't use it? As I know some people who do play like that. Every machine has bot, but not everyone use it.

Depends where you live, don't be so full yourself, not everyone has their own PC. :banghead:

I myself do, and also where I live no web cafe has SRO. But I do know a lot of people from Egypt who play like that.

Oh God let me translate it for you. They either pay 2 play by hand or bot. If they bot they can play for free, they give gold to web cafe owner and he sells it for cash.

"Okay, we're going to ban a bunch of you on Tuesday, July 24th at 15:00 hrs. Be sure to transfer your botted goods and gold to other accounts before that. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but look forward to seeing you back online in 2 days once the update to your bot program is released."

WTF....just don't say a damn thing & drop the ban hammer and then send out this msg:

Inspection completed, 7/24/07 16:00 hrs.

Data backup.

Oh yeah, we also banned a S**tload of bot accounts, kthxbai.

Within a week it'll be back to normal. Goldbotters don't care how quickly they get banned. Make 15 accounts, if 10 get banned before you get the gold off, it's no big deal you're still turning a profit.

so Joymax is just making sure that anyone with a cracked client doesnt try and use it when euro comes out, wait until the new one comes out and download that, than you can continue botting after that....

They are hopefully gonna do something about stoping the bots like, if it detects a bot program on ur client or something like tht u wont be able to play.

well justaskphil is correct. this is like warning a criminal to remove his stolen goods cause they are going to search his house the next day.

i am glad they are going to do something but at least do it right, the rules have been clear why suddenly start warning people now? how about all those poor people that got banned cause of pk2 edits or patched clients to log into the game just because they don't have premium?

It just feels like Joymax want even more money, i don't mind about that but i ask for more customer support after this is done.

whell if you guys remmbers a long time ago they did somthing and kept bots off the game for about a month i think this time it would keep most bots of or atleast half :!:

That's all fine and good, but as someone else said, this notice also serves to tell botters to move all of their botted sun equipment to a legit character in preparation for the ban. Warning botters, in an effort to scare them out of botting serves no real purpose. I think Joymax should just keep quiet about the ban. Give us Euro, and BAN!

Botters will try to log in, see that they can't, and that they lost their 4 billion gold and their 4 sets of 64+9 SOSun full blue weapons and armor. Then when the bot tries to create a new account they will (hopefully) be denied. That will be more effective in convincing the botter to go legit, AND will remove the botter's ill-gotten and undeserved power.
