Legit has different meanings for different people... for some it means never having botted for others it means never botting or bought gold. For me it means never having broke a rule of the terms of use.... that is being Legit anything else isnt as you have broken a rule and therefore are nolonger legit

maybe that is just my opinion and a bit of a tough view... but I am sick of people claiming to be legit when they have broken the terms of use kinda contradicts the point of being legit....

and Yes I am legit in other peoples and my interpratations of the word

I can say problably half the people who posted on this topic saying they were legit actually aren't lol!

I can say I am totally legit, on;ly thing I ever messed up an cheated on an online game was Stick Areana xD! And thats nothing at all.

I don't buy gold because ti leads you to some site- the site installs a virus on you, the gold you get later is now theres and whatever else, really swell isnt it?

Worse thing is people actually make money off a free game of silkroad, it's madness!

It also sucks when you know how fair your playing and how hard your tryignto train, when some a hole is doing double or triple better than you are, and they aren't even using much effort at all, barely any clicks.

It sucks, but that's life.

It must suck to have someone come over to your house if your a botter, and they ask "why is your computer on" and the only honest answer is "Because I have a program beating a game for me"

I dont know about you, but if I botted I'd leave my computer running and go out down to the pub :/ I wonder if that fact has promoted botting somehow though.

I have never botted (only L18 :/) on SilkRoad or any other game. I understand the background as to why it happens, and the only ways to solve it are to get JM to increase security or hire people for in-game moderation. You could sign a petition for this, but the nerdiness of this is stupid.

Your in school? I doubt very much you have the money to sue them. I also doubt you could sue them on any basis at all seeing as your playing a FREE game.

Enjoy Silkroad for the community. I play silk road to pass the time while I have a good banter with my gaming buddies on TS. Its fun that way, and I dont have to interact with many other players in the community. Hell, with the coming of Euro, we will have peace from bots anyway for a while as botting programs will have to be redesigned to counter party mobs.

Not only that, but when you buy silk you fund the game. However when you buy gold you fund the botters.

Silk was made so this FREE game could earn some kind of money to keep the game maintained and pay for the servers.

BTW check out this post on the SRO site, kind of confusing...

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

All servers will be undergoing extra server inspection regarding the massive bot punishment.

Abnormal client (ex: Hacking client with unnatural data) is not accessable after the inspection and will be punished strongly if one tries to access with such a client.

Please re-setup the normal client whoever uses the abnormal client and we recommend you not to use illegal program such as bot program right away.

Thankyou.

Just use the program later and they will continue not giving a sh*te i guess?

First confirmation from Joymax they don't care about playerbotters?

Point was, even if you sue a company for this sort of reason, it will do nothing since you play of your own will. Let's keep this civil children.

People still seem to suggest that this game is free to play, which isn't the whole truth. Most people do pay for silk if they truly play this game to cap, and it's almost a necesity to do so these days. You need a PT to login, a monkey to be able to stand the grind, and perhaps even a skill ticket to be able to finish your pesky farming. I could hardly call this game free... Some people, most of the time without the means to buy silk, can play for free, but the majority of the players buy silk... Go to takla and try to spot somebody without a PT or Monkey.

And no, not legit.

It is actually the truth, no matter how long or hard it is you do not have to spend a penny to play silkroad :d.

A monkey is not a necessity at all, it just picks stuff up for you.

True, and you don't really need the gold tickets unless, you'll get in eventually. But I do hate how long it may take. Frustrating.
