i disagree. We dont hear about Holiday in girls, or Paris hiltons sister or 3 brothers do we? Half of you prob didnt know she even had a sister and brothers. Her great grandfather owning a hotel i dont think helped her become a model, get in movies, produce cd's. Yah havign money to start with does help i do agree. Shes done a lot more then most of you think, you just dont realise it. She pretty much invented the snobby aditude that we see 75% of fat chicks trying to impersonate these days. Shes invented new styles of clothing, stared in the tv series the simple life, produced her own cd, started a record company, done modeling for many years, stared in the #1 selling porno ever made, been in i think 6 or 7 movies. How can you say shes lazy and doesnt work for anything. I was well aware that she has a sister, who by the way is equally as famous. Her brothers are irrelevant, because the good ole TV loves them girls and you know it. Don't you know anything about privilege? The ONLY reason shes famous is because of the Hilton name and money, why the heck do you think sons and daughters of the rich produce cds and become famous? Because of MONEY.

And don't get me started on welfare, the media twisted it so badly that people actually believed that everyone on welfare were lazy, poor slobs which is TOTALLY untrue. i don't fit into either category...i made it to 52 at last, *jumps for joy* realised that i'm still pretty much sh*t on by anyone 57+ so still can't even enjoy hunting or theiving without someone just killing me for the sake of it.....

so now i guess i'm turning into paris wanting to just be higher leveled without having to hand grind my way there.....luckly i've taken door three and chosen to take a break from sro and maybe quit..

but botters certainly appear to be getting the most enjoyment out of sro at the moment, joymax hasn't shown rule abiding players any loyalty.

OT: Go-getter for sure, Bluey, although all the Bots are probably saying that as well. I've been with this game since summer of last year, and I can honestly say that, even though I've played almost every single build, it still holds my curiosity, and I grind because I want to know what being a high-level (insert character build here), is like. Some of them I've grinded myself - my Blader, and my Nuker, for example, and some of them have been old friends accounts that may have been given to me. In the end, though, it's always back to my Blader, because I grinded it myself, rather than benefited from someone else's work, and regardless of what else may happen in this game, I take pride in that fact, above anything else.

It took me to the point where I forced myself to play just to show that you can get a Blader to Lv 80 the fair way, the thought of cheating never came across my mind and most of the time I was just angry and annoyed at botters taking up grinding spots pretty much all the time that I played. My mentality is one of fairness, because I know if im fair to others, others will be fair to me.

open your eyes , a go-getter is someone that is aware of what they have and who they are, and can take advantage of that to become more succesful . It doesn't matter if you have 100 mil in the bank or 100 dollars, or if your parents can get you into hollywood movies, or get you a job at your uncles office. It's what you do with what you got that makes you a go-getter

There is a flaw in your analogy. Bill Gates is more like the botters and less like the legits. It is a fact that Bill Gates and company lied, cheated, stole, and bullied to get where they are. But that is corporate America. Where you answer to the stock holders not the consumers and profit is the guiding rule. That is however as far as I will go on the subject as I doubt the forum really cares whether Bill G or MS was good or bad. The guy sets up a trust fund to give out money he stole from others and he is all of a sudden a saint. Make no mistake the Gates foundation was simply Melida's effort to sooth Bill's conciousness over all the lives he ruined. Lolol. I hated that - grinding on a monster, and then all of a sudden, a bigass Ox walks by, and then the next thing I know, some NPC thief had just one-hitted me with a whack from his 8D Spear.
But yeah... old times, old times. I remember my first day ever playing SRO. TBH, what really got to me was how NICE people were. I couldn't find General Sonhyeon right when I started the game for more than an hour, and finally, I just typed out, "WHERE THE **** IS THE GENERAL?" And two seconds later, some guy PM'd me. I had no idea to PM him back, but he even instructed me through that.
Then ended up watching me level until L8 or so, and gave me 1M when I asked him how he got his wolf. Wonderful guy. I don't even know his name now, but if I could find out who he was, I'd be incredibly indebted and grateful to him.

Nowadays, though, no one is friendly anymore. You ask someone how to do something, and he tells you to get lost. Days of the 60 and 70-Cap are over, boys. Welcome to the new SRO...

Find the URL of the Pic that you want to use for your Sig, and then just go to your Profile, where you normally edit your Sig, and put it into the image tags.
