No More Popping?

I heard that from the big update the theif runs will spawn hunter NPCS not Theifs NPCs so does that mean no more poppiing

Yep. No more popping, and you can't get a trader to pop for you, because hunters and traders cannot be in a party with thieves.

kinda...u can still hope to get a lightning hunter, AOE attacks and try to kill em with that.

Maybe, but will the AOE attacks actually hit the trader if the NPC thief himself can't attack the trader?

Simiarly, if someone is PVPing and do an AOE attack right by the safe zone, and I'm stalling inside the safe zone, but like a foot away from the PVPer, can I get hit? After all, I'm in the safe zone. Similar idea.

As for traders popping traders, I don't think you'd have to be in the same party to do it. If you're thieving, just have a trader that's not in your party go do the popping. Party membership shouldn't have anything to do with it, I'd think.

Disclaimer: I don't like popping, never did it, and never will. Although I WILL kill the NPCs of a thief that I see trying to pop, even if I'm in my thief suit.

1* trading still spawns u 2 npc thieves once in a while and if you dont kill them you can get up to 20+ thieves on you. xD

why cant you just get a traders about *2 from a guild and just pop other traders?

yeah i thought the same but probably other thieves would kill him and 1*wouldnt be effective
so popping got harder but not impossible

popping isnt really necessary anymore.

a) you cant change flags, can only do 1 job
b) once lvl 30 you lose your 1 star protection so we wont have lvl 70 tools doing 1 star

Summon scroll monsters are passive and even if the trader is dumb enough to attack them i think they have a cap on how much damage they do to certain levels.

afaik, thats only csro, i would want 100% positive proof that it will be like that in isro for me to believe that
