Female singers.
Is it weird that I'm a guy that likes some female singers? Cause some of my friends and family think it's odd. I just think it's good music. Any other guys like female singers?

I don't have a problem with women singers. But, there's only one I like: the lead singer from Metric. For me, it doesn't have to do with the sex, but simply the voice. I also can't stand female comedians.
Another problem I would guess to exist, is that music is an art, and the singer expresses her feelings. Most of the time a woman will thus sing about woman things. I can't imagine a male singer singing about how his boyfriend left him, he cried himself to sleep, and ate chocolate ice cream for a week.
But then again, I think it has to do more with the artist's style. If you're into stuff like Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, or Kelly Clarkson then there might be something odd. If it's stuff like Bjork or Metric, not so much.
However, Hey Hey You You is a song that everyone, no matter the sex, deep down inside, has the urge to sing along with.

They think it's odd, because guys don't naturally fall for "women music." Of course there is always exceptions, and there are many odd straight guys that love that sorta music. But I think for most situations, for a guy to love music like that, then that probably means he's gay deep down inside. Although there is nothing wrong with being gay, so don't think I'm trying to flame or anything.

serious note: no. Although I might be biased because I have a horrible horrible weakness to bubblegum pop and eurobeat/parapara. To put it in perspective, I've listened to momusu. and liked it.
It depends what type of music we're talking about, though. Country music has some beautiful female vocals, but if you're talking about American radiopop never talk to me.
