Girlfriend Problems

No, you weren't. As insulting as this might sound, you're 15. The chances of you forming a serious, lasting relationship are abysmally low- not only because you have crappy chances of finding anyone that quickly into your dating life, but also because you are still slightly innocent, have a glossy and colorful view of the world.

There are more problems though:

The thing is, I'm just one of those guys that takes all his relationships very seriously. I don't go out with a girl for a day, and then break up with her, just because I went out with her for fun. I'm just... you know? One of those guys that takes his relationships seriously, and I never say anything that I don't mean. If I loved her, I think that I did, and that I do...
But maybe I'm still, just too young.

You are young. It's not impossible to find someone you'll love for the rest of the life at this age, but it is very unlikely. You are mature for your age though- if a bit naive, you will probably not find many girls your age who are equally mature.

Really mature for her age, however, and she's proven to be a good friend.

Now taken what I just said into account, let me make my point with quoting this sentence even clearer.

feba - I have to say, from the moment that you've joined these Forums, I've been incredibly impressed with your posts. You kind of remind me of Non Ego Man, because your posts are almost always very constructive, and insightful, not to mention you know so many things - especially when it comes to computers and technology, it seems.

But we're all aloud to be a fool at some point in our life, I guess. Learn from mistakes.

on a serious note, thank you for the kind words. They would probably make people on other forums keel over laughing though.

I'm sorry if I came off a bit harsh, but I've had people I care about date jerks and assholes, who lie and cheat or abuse them- and I don't like watching it happen to people. I am glad you had the sense to get out, so many times it seems like people are willing to keep fooling themselves into thinking someone will change, or just keep going with it since it's lasted awhile. These types of people just get under my skin and make me want to slap the crap out of them. The fact that she's using her crocodile tears to try to guilt you is just plain vile.

Then again, said experiences (along with dealing with a steady stream of idiots for three or four years) have made me incredibly bitter with most of the rest of humanity, so take my advice on it with a grain of salt.

now i got here way late but i just read your post and i feel you, your issues may have already been resolved, but yeah i went through the exact same thing not to long ago, and i just didn't think it was worth having to worry about her again every minute that i wasn't with her, it consumed me and i ended up calling her about every hour to check in and find out the scoop, and i just decided that it was to much to worry about and i didn't need it.

so whatever you may have done, or not done, i know where you're coming from and respect you in your situation.

I didn't read the other 300responses to this thread. I will give you my opinion and I'm sure you've heard it already.

You're 15? You are very young and unfortunately immature. I will say, you have good grammer and spelling for a 15year old, unlike some of the idiots on this forum.

I will not say you wont find a lasting relationship at 15. It is possible. I know 2 couples that started dating at 14/15 and are still going steady (now 6 years later).

Unfortunately, like I mentioned above you are young, and I remember being the same way. The problem is that you "think" you are in love, but you really haven't experienced love yet. You also were only in a relationship for 2 months, which you might think is a long time but it's not. You really don't get to know someone until after a year or so.

I haven't read much in here but I'll say one thing and that is never ever be afraid to dump someone your not happy being with, making others happy before yourself is a foolish thing to do and will only make you unhappier. Staying with someone who you don't really want to be with just cuz your afraid of being without anyone is also not good for you.

Always put yourself first before others as far as happyness goes, don't throw away your one life feeling like crap, it's not worth it.

I've had my fair share of relationships, but I haven't been in one for quite some time and I just prefer it that way, I love the freedom to just do whatever I want without any annoying arguments with someone, every day is good now.

But yeah at 15 enjoy your life and everyone around you, I wouldn't wish a long relationship on anyone at that age, I know people who have done and it's nearly always fallen apart sooner or later, when your so young you should have as much fun as you can, when you get to my age you just can't be bothered with all that crap, you just wanna have it nice and easy instead lol
