is the ice nuke weak?

P.S SP is not a problem when levelling, ice is just level 23 already, fire 13 and light 12.

if you want to use nukes pick up s/s or spear

I dunno, I kinda have the same question. I don't think it sucks, it only does like 300 less damage than light nuke against mobs for me, and it does only like 100 less damage against other players.

I think it's good, but maybe the damage difference becomes much more significant later?

dude the best nuke is the 2nd fire nuke when maxed
it helps out alot

then the next best nuke might be the lightning or fire-wide nuke

Here is a quote from the 70:70 noob thread.

I am fully farmed ice, light, pacheon including buffs. I also have lvl 32 fire for the phys increase passive and buff.

These are rough estimates of my damage output for each skill.
My balances are currently 82:86
antidevil = 2700-3000
antidevil crit = 3800-4300
bezerker = 2700-3000
light nuke = 3500-4300
strong bow= 3800-4500
Ice nuke book 2 = 2600 maybe useful for mob control on trade runs, I won’t be leveling it.

Strong bow is a great skill, but the recharge time is to long. Anti devil is the bread and butter 3rd book really does crit a lot.
Light nuke does nice damage but cant crit. The light nuke also doesn't have the range of the other bow skills.
The light nuke does however have a farther transfer then the bezerker arrow so it is better at hitting multiple mobs.

When grinding it takes 2hits and maybe a few imbued normal shots at the end for me to kill a yeti. I open with the strong bow or light nuke, and then finish with anti devil. If the anti devil crits then its only 2 shots period. If I get mobbed I then use bezerker arrow in addition to the lightning nuke.

I could also kill a yeti with Anti > bezerker > arrow combo, if I did not want to use the light nuke. The time to do this skill combo would only take maybe 1 more second since I usually do 2 non skill hits at the end to finish off the mob anyway.

For imbue I only use ice. I have lightning maxed as well but the increase in damage is negligible. It is a bit more powerful, but I don’t kill mobs any quicker. In pvp I have not fought anyone immune to ice. When that time comes I will probably have 1 bar set up with ice and one with light. That way I can easily switch.

Since I am hybrid and you are pure, Your experiences may be different. I would think the nukes would hit harder in comparison to weapon skills. If you get your nukes could you pm me with the difference in damage vs weapon skills.

so should i just do a weapon switch for the first attack then switch to bow?

Nope, you just nuke if you want to be pure int, switching to bow will slow you down as usually you will grind on mobs you can 1 nuke or 1 nuke and lion shout.

Lucifer and I have a very good discussion, as well as parlaver real game experience. The bottom line is you will use nukes only for there splash effect, since they don't have the range of bow skills. You will be one of the fastest leveling builds, since the range makes up for less nuke damage. Possibly if castle seige comes out, you might be a huge asset. In the video it looks like the bowers shoot from the top and no one can hit them back. Being pure int would make you the strongest hitting bower.

In 1vs1 pvp you will never win unless you 1 hit them, or have sosun gear.

The good thing is you can always change your mind and go hybrid if you decide you need more hp.
And like I said earlier keep me posted I am always interested in the pros and cons of uncommon builds.
