Hi everyone
im having trouble making a sig, im asking if some one could cutout my character now i have screenshot with a normal weapon, the pic is:


And also could some one tell me how to move the character pic from one file to other. when its cut out i cant work out how i can just take that section of it and cut and paste onto another picture....also if its possible could some one resize it so its 125pixels high or tell me how to?

To move it open photoshop, select all of the cyan color, Shift+Ctrl+I or apple+I, and drag it into a new window.

if u click on the image link u can get a full screen render thats better rez.

also, while in photoshop, press ctrl and then press t while still holding down ctrl. then u can resize all u want, hold down shift while resizing keeps it in proportion

Im having trouble moving it lol, i can highlight the part i want the move but when i drag it to another window it just drags the outline and i cant work out what to do, what am i doing wrong?

Thanks eveyone finsihed my sig now = ) its not great but its my first one so im happy with it Thanks again. anyone know a good site toupload it because now im having trouble with that lol. i didnt have trouble with everything else ive uploaded but

oops thats true, and whats stroke? im mega noob at photoshop lol but im starting to learn

[EDIT] I couldnt work out a good colour so i changed the sig and used 2 colours for text! i rathered it the other way but i couldnt find a nice colour that u can see proberly, but o well

i double click on layer and a box comes up, there are a ton of things u can do, very bottom is stroke

stroke is basically a border for the text, it is just a line that is X many pixels and it fits teh text
