You're lucky you learned your lesson early on.

500k honestly isn't that much in the long run. Was it a weapon? wrist? ring? Probably worth at the very least 100k, 400k isn't that bad of a loss. You'll recover.

I've seen people scammed for much more.

it is a lvl 8 wristlet... the reason im pissed is because After stalling the whole day so that I could get 4mil for an sos bow... I get scammed right before im about to buy the bow?Now i dont even have enough for the bow. :x

Just curious...what goes through your mind when you see something like that? Does it even register in your head that it might be a scam? Or do you just go "Omg SoS for 1 GOLD. MUST BUT IT".

Thats one of the oldest tricks in the book btw. It's right up there with the "Drop your weapon on the ground to make it sos" scam. That's why you never drag anything to your inventory before a stall is opened.

Here's one solution to not get "scammed"

Stop being greedy

Most of the time it's the victims own fault (stupidity/greed) for getting scammed.

i cant belive but i agree. I never understand how can some1 fall for that only time i got scamed ( well wasnt scam it was more like lack of knowlage) is when i just started to play it was on Aege and whit my first char i got sos bow lvl16 drop on white tigar and when i went to town i was like " ow im blader i dont need this bow bo metter how good or how shiny it is "(basicly true i was about lvl 20)" ill go sell it and then this guy comes and offeres 100k and i was like wow ill sell right away..." DONT say a word    i was young and unexpirienced didnt have any friends ingame to tell me price of that bow. But since my second char many have tryed to scame me many many times but none came even close those scams are soo darn simple i just dont get it how can ppl fall for them :banghead:

Scams are most likely successful to unexperienced beginners, AKA noobs. Don't be a noob.

Oh My God...

That scam is like 1000 years old... when you see a too good price, simply leave the stall, put the money in your storage, leave 1 gold in your inventory and wait... If you make such mistakes.

its not always a scam, i remember someone said in town that they were selling access elixirs for 1gold each, so i asked for xy and went into his stall, had a stall full of them for 1 gold each, so i bought them all and he said, wait, i have more, opened another stall full fo them for 1 gold

i asked him why and he said no one would buy them, so he decided to just give them away. he said he spent 5 mins advertising them for 1 gold, no one came till i bought them all

About 7 months ago, I saw a stall being modified in jangan that had a level 16 SOS +3 bow for 10k in it. I figured it was a scam, went and got some stuff from storage and was leaving to go jobbing and stopped back by... stall was open.

Bought the SOS bow for 10k gold.

Lol, I usually dont fall for these scams, but there was this guy on my server that was gonna quit sro, and he announced it on the global. He opened a stall and sold all his stuff for 1gold ea. They were like sos devildom shoes, SOSUN gears, and stuff. There were like 20 ppl in his stall waiting for him to "scam", but apparently it wasnt a scam. He actuallly opened his stall and the lucky people got his stuff for 1gp ea. Thats obviously wat i was thinking about, when i got scammed
