By producing gold themselves and selling it to players in item mall. Wakaka, well at least botters will be banned.

Wat? Gold botters can buy gold? Why would they buy gold?

I meant JM will sell gold in the item mall. They make money and gold botters are gone since they wont be able to compete with JM who has unlimited supply of gold.

Prices on SOSN item will go up means good for JM. more people will buy gold from them so they can buy their fav. weapn.

A lot of people who buy gold use it to buy a better item or to do alchemy. So if Joymax sold some alchemy stuff to improve your gear I'm sure the amount of players who bought gold would greatly reduce.

The economy would be messed up if you could buy gold in item mall. Not to mention ccfers would be rich

. Plus it will be too easy to start the game if you had excess to gold that early. Gathering gold is a skill.

yeh it's a pretty good idea but with all he cffers and all that sort around I doubt joymax would ever impliment something like this imo the ecconomy is already high with all the gold botters this would make prices sky rocket what about the people who can't buy silk?

Let me repeat it again, the reason people buy gold is because they want l33t gear. And if only Joymax sold SOX stones in item mall and introduce other items in itemall that makes alchemy easier, then gold buying will decrease a lot and so eventually the gold bots will stop mining for gold when no one buys it. More money for Joymax, less goldbots, win-win situation.

why not just sell "add 10 levels" or "add 10,000 SP" or "Sosun weapon" to the item mall? they'll make shitloads of money that way too

because not everyone is legit in sro.. not all players will simply stop buying gold. you have to remember that only a small percentage are completely legit.

Ok, here is an exemple :

CCF buys Silk. Let's say he invest 24$ for 300 Silk
--> Use silk to buy gold
--> Gold is an exchangable, tradable items => transfert to his main account or buy stuffs.
--> Charge back => account banned
=> he got free gold

More than that, once he got the gold
--> sell for real money with cheaper price than JM
=> so in the end, not only he got free gold, but also free real money

Just to make it clear, I'm not vying for selling gold in the item mall. I'm vying for selling sox stones and other items in the item mall to make alchemy a lot easier. Because with selling gold, CFF'ing will skyrocket as you can imagine. The better option is to introduce alchemy items into the item mall that grant better success rates.

There will always be some damn gold buyers. You can't stop just by telling them to stop buying gold. Their need for l33t gear is so high that they are willing to shell out lots of dollars just for gold, sometimes hundreds. And what does this perpuate? Goldbots! What the gold-buyers do with their gold is to buy pimped-out gear. I don't really care whatever they do, but the problem I have is gold bots. Gold bots ruined this game for a lot of people. Gold bots make it almost impossible to play, especially for the noobs stuck at the flowers in the oasis and of course the log-in problem.

So how do you drive the gold bot companies to quit? By having Joymax provide what the gold-buyers want instead (that is sos, som, sosun stones like I mentioned). Sure it is unfair to the poor folks with no real money, but the current situation is already like that. Many of the top people in this game are gold-buyers (I'm not saying everyone is though).

It will give those damn goldbuyers a different choice. Instead of paying craptacular prices to gold-selling companies they can get what they want from Joymax instead. Not that I buy gold (because it is an idiotic thing to do), but I'm vying for this options if this means less gold bots.

However, this means they have to deal with CFF'ers more harshly than before. Like imposing restriction on trading items used with those SOX stones (if they decide to introduce it).

and since gold is used for buying great SOX gears, suggestion to have NON_TRANSFERABLE SOX gears sold in item mall, u guys complain that the rich folks will buy them and mess up the server. and how is this different from those who can afford to buy gold?
