Usually i try to make up 10 stones when i try to fix a white stat since the chances of it staying the same, going lower, or failing is high. Made up 10 philosophy stones yesterday to fix the 0% mag attack stat on my bow, 61% first pop, but it never usually happens like that. You can always sell the stones afterwards.
