SOS Drops

i never get SOS drops, i kill giants and champions and no drops. My friend told me to get items with Luck. That didnt' work, i dont get SOS still, but for some reason other peeps that i play with get SOS. I have 3, 2 were given, 1 was bought.

Are SOS drops PreSet already for each user?

No. SoS drops are random.
If you mean that your friend told you that "Lucky" on your equipment gives you a higher chance of getting an SoX drop, it's false. Lucky on your EQ has an entirely different purpose, but that's not relevant to the topic at hand.

There are no "preset" amounts of SoX drops that you should get. Someone might get twenty before they're L30. Some might get none, even if they're fully capped and farmed.

It's random. Period. Discussion closed.

that is shit, i dont want to start a new toon again just so i think i would get better SOS drops, that is total bull shit.

i prob have the worst luck out of everyone. i got the following char lvl's 48, 37, 35, 33, and a few level 2x's. And out of all the characters combined ive only found 2 sos items, some lvl 10 boots and a low lvl blade. No you got no reason to complain

26 is extremely low, if you plan on playing until the Cap. Yes, it's a little more than 1/4 of the current Cap (80), but then again, it only takes about an hour to level up at those levels. The higher the level, the longer it takes to level up, because of the more mobs you have to grind.
And even though SoX drops are random, you still have a higher chance of getting an SoX drop at L70, or so, than from L1-26, because you simply have to grind more monsters - thus, more chances of a drop.

So, chin up. You'll get your fair share soon, and you'll be happier than if you got one when you were L10. It'll be worth more.

For example, I picked this up about a little more than a week ago, after not having any SoX drops for a few months:

i got a lvl 35 sos armor head when i was around lvl 28 and a lvl 34 sos prot leg when i was around lvl 30. i been playing the same char for almost a year and a half....i deserve a dam sun weap!!

SOX are random .......
i have never got an SOX wit my first character.. but when i made the 2nd one....
at lvl 24 - SOS Earings
at lvl 32 - SOS Boots
at lvl 52 - SOM Blade and SOS BOW .....

Just hold on and be patient :wink:
