anyone heard about mana shield ice (new skill)

ive heard of this thing called mana shield under ice, i heard it is a buff that last 2mins, with 1min cool down, and for those 2mins. u can tank much dmg like this: say a pure str glavier does 10k crit to u...(assuming ur pure int here) 5k goes from HP and 5k goes from MP ...this sounds like a good buff but i dont kno if i want to drop fire for ice of not....anyone have anymore helpful info about this buff....plz help!

yes, just about everyone here has heard about it. It's up to you whether or not you drop fire for it....

Iguana if you were in my boat what would u do?
cuz if i drop fire i think ill lose my immunity to ice....which is not good cuz my atks could get cancelled...so if you were in my situation what would u do?

What jauqe said. Right now, I am pure int, but considering going hybrid. If I stay pure int (most likely), i will lvl up ice (having not lvled fire much yet). If I make a very hybrid sword, I'll probably want more fire.

Can't you still keep your fire relatively high for fire shield and just have pimper jewelry?

im lvl 63 atm with 91% naked mag balance.... lvl 60+3 s&s, all +3 gearz, lvl 54 lightning, 61 fire, 0 ice, 42 hueskal, 58 bicheon

Since you seem to like to have ice to have mana shield, I think this is what you should do: 80 ice, 80 fire, 69 lightning, 71 bicheon.
You will use ice & fire nukes with fire imbue ( if u have extra sp, get ice imbue as well to use on those who have no ice immune just for fun); and there you have that the mana shield as well =)
If you go for this build, don't bother to level up that lightning nuke since the mastery is only 69 so it will be weak anyway unless u have extra sp.
