Can someone please clarify. Does a 8 gap give the same sp as a 9 gap? and also more exp?
so Its poinless having a 9 gap?

No. An 8-gap gives less SP but more exp than a 9-gap. Once you go past 9-gap, thats when it doesn't change anymore.
