thats a rather foolish statement...
There are 5 year olds out there with intellectual capability to fly a plane, but will any government or plane owner/passenger risk it to find out? No.
Just because someone is not allowed to do something does not mean they are not capable.
I am 14 years old, and talking to someone they would say, "You can't drive a car yet." Well the point is, I can drive a car just fine. I have before and I will again. The government where I live will not "allow" me to drive a car but I can if I want too....
Because something is not common does not mean it should not be allowed.
Privledges and Assumptions should be based off of maturity and physical and mental capability.

Highly doubt you can drive a car to the same level a someone who is older.
Just because you can hit the gas, go in a straight line, or even turn, does not give you the ability to "drive a car just fine".

XuChu 2 things....
1. Mines gonna be a '92 camry not a '88
2. Just because some (many) people in my country do stupid, dangerous things does not mean that I do too. Think about what you are saying. "It is idiots like me." What have I done to deserve your negative targeting? You compare me to fools soley because I said something different than what you believe. I am grateful that the government where I live attempts to control dangerous and stupid things but that does not mean I must agree with how they go about doing it. Instead of thinking about all possibilities you relate to shameful incidents . . . The government in my area requires a two written tests, driving lessons, and a state supervised driving test and then provisional periods without full privileges. Is that going to stop an accident from happening? No. The times I have driven I drove at neither a high speed nor a dangerous manner. There was not a soul on the road. Do I regret doing that just because the government says not too? Not at all. People need to do more than just simply follow the laws, they need to think for themselves and act in the safest manner in dangerous situations. The laws are there to help the people (well most of them), but I still feel that maturity is a greater deciding factor for responsibility than age. I agree on the thought that, "Most older people are more mature" but that does not mean that mature younger individuals should be excluded rights due to only their age

Lol some laws are made for a reason. Driving at 15 with an adult is a good law. Drinking at 21 and weed are examples of bad laws. And because you drove with NO ONE around in the middle of the night, that makes you a good driver?
Lol.
Whatever. Once you start driving for real, you will relize how a 14 YEAR OLD can not handle a car.
14 years old. Barely in puberty. And you want to be able to drive a deadly machine? Hey, its your choice. Just don't come near Tampa, please.

i was from china but I'm not anymore.
China sucks less than NZ, no dumb ass company can threat the government.
In NZ the water company goes, sorry we gonna increase the water bill by 10%/yr for the next 15 years because we want to make more money. (<-- exact quote from those water company) we live on a Farking island and our water bills cost $50 a month! imagine the increase!
**** NZ , NZ sux.

don't agree there, there are people who buy a house then get their parents to move in with them because they are their parents. This is not just one o two people but rather quite a bit of the population
