lion shout vs soul cut or sword dance -- high lvls
lion shout vs soul cut or sword dance -- high lvls
Why is lion better than soul or dance?
I'm pure int with
soul bk1 lvl 4
dance bk1 lvl 1
shout bk2 lvl1
soul does the same damage as shout, dance does 50% more, both have ability to crit which makes them even more powerful, both use far less mp than shout
so w.t.f? why does everyone say shout is the best? will this change as I lvl (57 atm)? is it mainly for pvp? apart from the slower refresh of dance it is far better atm, not sure what will happen if I lvl it tho

I believe one of the reasons why Nukers use the Lion Shout Series instead of the Blade Force Series, or Sword Dance Series, is because it's an instantaneous move that refreshes extremely quick. At the higher levels, it may take you a nuke, and two Lion Shouts to finish a mob up, in which case they happen right after another. Each of the Lion Shout book's casting time is 100% (1 second), while the Blade Force is 120% (1.2 seconds), 150% (1.5 seconds), and 95% x 2 (a total of 1.9 seconds). You could fit in 2 Lion Shouts in about the same time it takes to do one Devil Cut Blade, and for INTs, grinding is all about speed. That's not to mention that the Lion Shout Series has a little AoE, and the Sword Dance Series just takes too long to travel to the mob, if you've ever watched the animation. It's ridiculous.
Besides, then what do the Pure INT Spears do? The Flying Dragon Series is 200%, or 2 seconds. Even worse.
And besides, having three books of Lion Shout, as well as the rest of your Nukes and your last book of your Fire Imbue all lined up on your skill bar just looks awesome.

lmao
Thx guys, I'm gonna go with the dance, all I use lion for is finishing (which it does worse than the others) or drawing. Don't understand why you would use three books of lion over a nuke, unless for pvp when timing is everything ...

So wait, does the percentage on the skill mean the amount of time it takes to recharge the skill? Nothing to do with dmg at all? Or are u talking about a different percentage?
