Well, I don't think hybrid ints are really "shit" without all of that....cold isn't really a necessity for them, seeing as they're "hybrid", meaning more hp to survive more hits than their pure int counterparts.
And about pure ints using force without weapon trees....I don't really know. There's an error with the skill, which can be cancelled like a buff...so yea:
Ex: Does force skill (forgot what it's called) then goes to nuke, they cancel, thus doing that was pretty useless....and with no weapon trees, you're just gonna sit there and nuke?....like I said, I don't really know...just have to wait and see with these new skills coming out.
But just like everyone says: Gear > Build.

U can cast vital spot therapy up to 3 times if im not mistaken the opponent can not cancel all 3 while pvp'ing U or others and U at same time most will just ignore it or cant get all 3 canceled so if u fire 1 nuke while 1 is on its good. if u fire 1 nuke and 2 lion shouts u might kill them!.

You can't cancel vital... it only lasts a few seconds

At lvl 90, and lvl 90 skills, maybe.
The problem is, ints will not be able to kd/stun/kb the weapon users with just force skills so people with these skills have a huge advantage so long as they nukes can't one hit them. So if they want to get a nuke off they have to give up fire entirely. Which, in turn, leaves them open to anyone with any cold to interrupt their nukes.
Hybrids, on the other hand, will be able to give up the mana shield entirely by lvl 90, having something like 15k hp. They might be a little easier to kill, but they'll either have the mag or phys/block skills, (whichever ends up being harder to fight) which don't make up for it, and KD/stun, which do. Yes, mana shield is great, but being almost unkillable for a little bit doesn't make up for the fact that you'll likely spend that time on the ground or stunned, after which you'll get dropped like a rock.

Being a bastard works.
