blade/sword question~~~Tank ability

sup guys

hi im finally done with my 90k SP farming period (W000000T )
but when i did the farming, i added some points into str, becease originally i wanted to be an int hybrid, but half way there i changed my mind and wanted to be a str blade ^^

so im basicly a str hybrid wit 27 points into int,

my guestion: around which phy balance i need to use a blade?? to do more damage with it??

question2: what phy balance you need to tank ''good'' against other classes?


BTW: @ lv 80 i will have around 1700 hp naked less then a normal pure str

Up to 90% oh phys your considered pure str..., same for int i guess lol
Still to try to be pure anyway, if the ad ups of str helps

my guestion: around which phy balance i need to use a blade?? to do more damage with it?? It's not like there's a certain physical balance that you have to have to use a Blade, or to do more damage with it. You have to remember, first and foremost that if you're creating a Blader, it's about the defense - not the damage. And your defense is already compromiesd a little bit due to the fact that you dumped points into INT. If you're looking for damage, you might want to be as a Hybrid S/S, or a Hybrid Spear. IMHO, Hybrid STR builds do NOT work well, and 1-2K HP is quite a bit to be losing at the 80 cap. If you just like the looks and the flashiness of the chains, you coulds till be a decent Hybrid S/S, and get the Bicheon Chains. However, if you're into damage, think it throughly, because making a Blader, you'll regret in the future - and by that time, it'll be too late to reassign your stat points, and down the drain goes all that farming.
About your question though, I'm currently L65, farming with a 9-gap. I have a Physical Balance of 104%, and I do a little more than average damage for a Blader. Of course, I'm running on a gap right now, so as soon as I close it, I'm sure I'll be able to be a decent Blader.


question2: what phy balance you need to tank ''good'' against other classes? Once again, it's not a certain Physical Balance. Physical Balance doesn't help you tank "good" against Nukers. It's your gear and your buffs that make you tank good. With a horrible shield, that has an even worse BR, you might as well be a Glavier. Use Armor, and you'll be looking extremely delicious to Nukers. Don't have the right buffs, and you'll be gimped compared to other Bladers who do have the buffs. It's not all about physical defense - I'll say that. The main difference between a Blader and other classes is the shield. A shield with a great BR makes ALL the difference, especially when you have Critical on it.


BTW: @ lv 80 i will have around 1700 hp naked less then a normal pure str Which is, once again, not good. Bladers are all about tanking, and defense. I strongly urge you to think your decision through. But good luck on whichever path you pick.

i havn't seen very good proof dat str hybrid sucks (strong arguments tho) so i just be a str blader, i see how it works out...if it's really gonna fail, i can easily get the 90k sp again


anyway i will tell you if this build is gonna fail or it's gonna work, at least it will give us some information about str hybrids

I was thinking of this A blader using a sword. very hybrid. somthing like 60%+ physical. with chains! and kd's and stabs a crit there and crit there this might prove to be a fun build! i definetly wanna try it out one day (

60% phy balance naked it think is int sword(the mag bal is around 80-83%)

my friend is a hybrid level 75 blader 85% phy and 5x% mage naked...he strong in pvp coz he is full of sosun...quite hard to say str hybrid work or not

erm.... no this would be an int sword who can do a little of both, but would die at a crit and doesn't do enough dmg to easily finish off a glaiver without a crit, unless he has a good sword.
