Im pissed off i cant use my download accelerator, it usually gives me 2x to 3x the normal rate!!

It's an executable that automatically launches uTorrent and starts the download.

At this moment there are 10 seeds for 1728 peers...
So we need more, please all people that download it, also share it thx

That way everyone will have it in a descent time...

Well, first post

I've been meaning to register for a while, just have always forgotten to do it.

Well cool, Euro is coming out sooner than expected.

Just to clear things up, after the Euro update comes out. The old client that we all have installed right now will still be of use, it will be used to play the current, chinese, silkroad.

However, after the update you will only be able to play Euro Silkroad by downloading and installing this Euro Client. You will not be able to play through the current client. Same as with the Euro Client, you will not be able to play chinese version.

Ok, well Joymax have stuck in an installer that automatically runs uTorrent (I hate uTorrent

) So, if you want to use your own download accelerator / torrent program, I have provided a link to the torrent used to download the Euro Client. However, if people don't believe me due to the low post count, I will explain how you find it for yourself.

Finding the torrent:
1. Make sure that uTorrent is running and downloading Euro Client.
2. Go to Start->My Computer
3. Double Click on C:\ (Change According to your Drive)
4. Double Click on Documents and Settings
5. Double Click on the folder with the name of the user you are logged on
6. Make sure that you are able to see Hidden Folders.
To do this go to, Tools->Folder Options->View Tab->Show Hidden Files and Folders
7. Double Click on Application Data
8. Double Click on uTorrent
9. Now, in this folder, copy and paste the torrent file named : "SilkroadOnline_GlobalOfficial_v1.110.exe.torrent" To another location.
10. Now run this torrent the way you normally would with your desired client.

Are you sure of that? That means that you will not be able to visit-see europe in china and vice versa... sounds very strange to me.

Personally i think it's like this:
Euro client --> Already updated (with euro) current client
Which means that when you install this version (after you removed the current client) you should be able to play SRO euro-china immediatley when the servers are updated.
When you don't use this new client, your current client will be updated once the servers are updated, which will take longer so you won't be able to play euro immediately.

Now, this is from the official website and that's why i think it is the way i describe here:
This client can be installed after the opening of Europe service.
Download this client beforehand if you wish to login to the game quickly on the opening day of Europe service.

Yea, I'm pretty sure of it because MorningDew mentioned in a post on the official forums somewhere that at first, the Euro Update will be a seperate client and server.

However, later on they will combine them both. I know it seems strange but it's what has been said so.. :roll:

How else do you explain on the download pages that the titles above the 2 downloads are : (Only Europe Version) and (Only Chinese Version).

cause i think 99% of the players think like i descibed, being euro and chinese on the same map/server immediately...

So why you call it update if it will be like a separate game more than an update according to your description :roll:

For chinesse chars, Europe is just extension of the map as it was takla on his moment.

Basically its a completely new client, with both Euro and China on it right from the start, so they wont have to a do a massive update on the old client putting a strain on their servers, so dont worry it WILL have both China and Europe and both will be visitable by eachothers race.

Well there are 2 divided opinions, some people believe what I think, others do not. The majority do believe that it will be chinese and europe in the same client however that is just immediate opinion on what would be obvious to do. Mainly this is the major opinion because it is in the other clients such as csro and ksro.

However, as I said there was a post made by MorningDew, but in the ramble of the official forums I can't seem to find the link anymore.

Let's just wait for the update and see what it turns out to be

I'm 110% sure that its just a misunderstanding, as most of the announcements made in the official website are not always very clear, but seeing as how its almost the same size as the KSRO or CSRO client install, I dont see why it shouldn't be the same. So I wouldn't be too worried.

I had to rename it to a .exe file. It had no file extension when it was done and windows didn't know what to do with it

Says it can't install before Europe is out.

He wasn't complaining about the pictures on his own behalf, he was just saying to have some consideration for the people that would think these kind of pictures are inappropriate, and you should grow up imo.

Oooh are you stupid.
The client that we can download currently is for players who directly want to game when the europe is launching. For other players, they can wait till the europe is lauched and then update their silkroad map with the new europe client that include that there will be CHINESE AND EUROPE IN THE SAME SERVERS SO IT ISNT A NEW GAME JUST A UPDATE.
