Question about modding game files

Hello, i have download hex editor, and pk2 editor as well, and when i try to replace to mod clothes, it worked, and saved, but when i click the icon of the game, it does not launch, do not know what happened, though i followed the tutorial exactly. i was asking if any member here can upload his/her own media.pk2 file so i can download and put it in my game directory, so i can enjoy playing with already tested modded skills?

i advise you to try and try it again. there is a great risk the uploaded file
contains hidden files you dont want. we have had a big discussion about it
and we do not allow these files to be uploaded on the forum anymore.

you said to try again, i tried alot, backed up my game file, and modding, but in vain, i am at level 35, and i need something new, i like to mod, i also had a Motorola phone, and everyday i was modding it, to have something new, the same device but with X-tras

Then you did something wrong when you tried to modify your file. If you backed up your Media.pk2 file, copy and paste it, and go back to your SRO folder, and overwrite the Media.pk2 file that you had changed. That should fix it.
If you didn't back up your PK2 file, you'll need to reinstall SRO.

As far as having a Mod goes, I don't know if this is against the rules, Cin, but I'd suggest PMing an SRF member called SCArchon. He has a great Media.pk2 that he's uploaded on RapidShare, and he'd give you the link. I've used the file, and it's great - scanned it a few times as well, along with other SRF users, so the file's clean.

we want to keep the forum free from these files for the sole reason of protecting
our members from corrupted files. if one of the members wishes to pm another

Alright. Then I'll vouch for SCArchon, when I say that his file is clean - he's a great guy, and genuinely only wants to help the community.
Personally, I got rid of his Media.pk2 file, but that's just because it changed the 2nd book of the Ice Nuke so only a single shard of Ice fell down, instead of the standard raining of shards.
But the rest of it is great. He changed the L30 horse to Uruchi, too.
