Was wondering what immortal does and is their any effect that can make the durability drop slower or make it not drop at all?
thx
Immortal
Immortal prevents your item from disappearing if you failed with an elixir and it was going to disappear. An item doesn't disappear after failing from just +2 to +3. An item usually disappears when trying to go to +6 or maybe +5 and up.
And no, there is nothing to make your durability drop slower, maybe don't use chains.

I have never personally seen an Immortal used from failing +4 to +5. I had several attempts trying to +7 my 72 bow. I used 5 immortals...all of which were used either from +5 to +6 or +6 to +7. The same of which has happened on my current bow. Ive gotten to +6 4 times and failed everytime so far. Have used 4 immortals and again, none of them dissapeared going for less than +6.
Does that mean its not possible for it to use an immortal going from +4 to +5? No. But unless i see a screenie of a weapon being destroyed under those circumstances, i dont think its possible.

lol
I have +5'd countless items with no immortal\astral with no breaks. The only time ive had anything break was when i bought 2 +6 items from dw..a 4d blade and a 4d bow, both clean, both +6. 1 elixir each, both went poof.
