I'm guessing it replaces your particles.pk2 file with a modded one. You probably should scan it before you download and it would be wise to create a backup for whatever you're replacing.

YOU GUESS ITS A PK2 EDIT? You dont have to guess, its not a PK2 edit. A PK2 file doesnt need a "patch programe" to run.

and yes, some people have to guess. i dont have time to check out all these
files myself. did it witht he nude patch and guess what file it changes.. the

edit: locked. checking the patch out. if its after the client, the link will be
deleted. if its after the pk2 like the other patch, the link will stay.

pretty big file, so might not be the pk2 edit. ill have it done in about 20 minuts.

edit2:

seems to be a media.pk2 file. only the size has changed.
havent tried it out yet, but im guessing its not a client mod..

as i stated in the other topic, the whole mod team has an agreement
on how to handle pk2 files. as long as joymax has not literally stated that
these pk2 edits are illegal, the forum is neutral on this subject.

I just want to ask one thing... does this patch only have the spawn locations? Cos if it has nude patch, i dont want it -.-

EDIT: One other thing, i d/l'ed it then pasted over, etc then tried to run sro and it started updating the client, etc -.- any idea on how to fix this? Cause the media.pk2 is 200mb uncompressd

Until i see an official release on the SRO news page or a blurb in the client startup window saying that pk2 editing is against the ToS, it will be allowed on this forum. as long as a modification doesn't alter anything server-side, change the way a character moves/fights/etc., or give an unfair advantage over other players, the modification will be allowed to remain available at the mod team's discretion. if there are any issues with this, please PM me.
