it means that u have a better chance of hitting as hard as u can

Attack rating (hit ratio) is the chacne you will give the higher end of your damage. For example say your damage is 100-200, the higher your attack rating, the better the chance you will do 200. Parry is the opposite - the higher your parry ratio, the better the chance you will get hit for the bottom end of someones damage range, in this case 100.

Attack rating makes your average damage higher, but not your potential peak damage. Parry ratio makes your average damage taken lower, but not your potential peak damage received.

Archers all use attack rating buff because its in their weapon skill tree.

When 'miss' gets implemented into the game, the archer will almost never miss a shot.
