I thought it wrapped up about as well as it could, of course I was holding out a torch for light to win, but Ryuzaki (first L) was definitely my favorite char. I didn't like the idea that they were trying to replace him with neither N or M, so when it turned out that N and M realized they weren't as good as L alone and were willing to give their lives to become greater then him for the brief amount of time needed to get Kira, I liked that a lot.

Then my reply to that is: It is about a notebook that kills people. Lame idea and all, but the show really backs it up with its content.

I think Near should have had a different personality because they made him seem too much like Ryuzaki which made him look like a lame version of him.

and I don't understand why Mello looked like a chick...
He even had breasts... wtf?
