Unfortunately, yours was easy for me. You would've won with anybody else, except me, because the Dark Archon is my favorite BW Unit. Tough luck, but a good try nonetheless. Actually, Toss probably isn't a good bet for you, just as a hint, because Toss is my best race... actually, the only race that I ever play as.

I'm going to have to say a Science Vessel, out of pure guesswork, although I'm sure that it's right. Protoss don't say that kind of stuff, and Zerg just grunt. Thus, it has to be a Terran. Ground units don't say that, because if you had a gas leak for a ground unit like a Seige Tank or Goliath, it wouldn't really matter much. Now, a gas leak in the air - bam, you're screwed. Actually, was thinking of Pearl Harbor when I was trying to figure it out, where Rafe or whatever his name is goes down because of a gas leak.
Anyways, I'm accustomed to Science Vessels when I play Terran, if not only for the EMP against Toss. Wraiths and BC's are too serious in their chatter to say anything like that. Now, Sci Vessels say alot of wacky stuff.

BTW, just out of curiosity, Shadow, what's your style of play for SC? Are you a masser, or more guerrilla-like in tactics? And I really, honestly hope that you're not one of those people that play those noob Fastest Map Possible shit. Gayest map ever, no strategy at ALL involved. It's not so much of, "Do I have enough minerals to build up a good fleet?" anymore. It's a, "How fast can I build this fleet?" And it's not strategical at all, because it's all mass - money is of no object...

How'd they nerf the DT rush? I used to do that alot... but it was more of a DT / Reaver rush, since I needed Shuttles anyways. Reavers to distract from the DT's, which were cloaked anyways, so I'd order my DT's to hold position and just like, not attack anything, and then they'd finish the Reavers off, and think that everything was safe. Then there entire base would be dead. But yeah, how'd they nerf it? I'm more of a classic SC player, not BW - way, WAY too many hackers on BW these days. Ever been nuke-hacked before? Pain in the ass, man. Pain in the ass.

I actually play guerrilla. Come in, come out. Attack, back out. Just annoying. My matches take a long, long, long time, but at the end, the person that I'm playing is so annoyed and so pissed that his focus is completely off, and then I drop in with my main attack force, and he doesn't have a clue what's going on. My bases move like the wind. When I'm done with a mineral patch, I destroy my entire base, and move on to the next one. It'd be interesting to play you. Entirely different style of play.

That would be from the Crashed Battleship Duke was in, later a playable unit, a mission I actually remembered.

I'm almost positive that the DT attack speed was lowered, making them not as effective as before. Especially at their greatest feat, taking out infantry, which doesn't work as well if they take years to switch from dead marine to near death marine.

I can not express enough sorrow at BW, it's so sad that I can't use Dark Archons and Arbiters, who I place above High Templars as casters, but EVERYONE cheats. I can not find a good match, either they suck, or they hack.

I play all three but hate zerg as they have no casters, Queen does crap, and I like corsair over swarm, although swarm AoE is bigger. Guerrilla is annoying if played correctly especially against me because I expand early and get units late with many cannons. Which don't do crap against people that run away. Of course after I get HTs.... try and rush me.

Aw, come on, Shadow. You said you were going to bring it up one more level. Your quotes, and mine as well, are way too easy. "We burn" is one of the basic quotes of the Archon, when you click on it, as well as, "Annihilate!" "Obliterate!" and a bunch of other stuff, lol. If you want to win, you're going to have to use quotes that are only heard in missions / quotes that could belong to multiple units... that kind of stuff. Come on. Make it harder.

What's so funny?

Actually, IMHO, Zerg are the absolute best race for guerrilla warfare. Sure, Terran has the mobility, so there's no need to destroy your entire base when you're done, but the parasite, burrowing, Plague, and suicidal units that annoy the shit out of your opponents, just can't be beat. I just run around when I'm playing Zerg, parasite everything and anything I see, and then distract the enemy with a bunch of lings / scourages. The parasites are amazingly useful to find out the chinks in the enemy's defense, and you'd be surprised how often people don't notice it, especially if you parasite the right units - marines that are about to head into Bunkers, SCVs... etc. And once you find out the chinks, you don't go straight ahead and attack. You find out all the sub-bases, the expansions, and send lings, lings, lings. To each and everyone of them. The rate that you can produce units for Zerg is crazy, and since you can produce more units, that have less power for Zerg, it's awesome for distraction - more units, more attention that the enemy gives you. And Zerg perfectly fits the job.
Yes, my games take a long, long, LONG time to finish, simply because I dodge around, and never face the enemy head-on. Call me a coward, but this is just my style of play, and it works. My ladder game record was 312-23-2, and it would've been higher, but when I came back to playing SC, they removed the Ladder games or something?

As for your quote, this is probably the first one I had to use elimination from scratch to get the answer. So here's my process, if my answer is wrong, point out where I was wrong, and I'll defeat you in quote game v.2.

1. Protoss doesn't joke, no protoss.

2. Zergs don't say anything, no zergs (well maybe infested people).

3. Now, that leaves Taerran. I know probably all of the sayings normal Taerran units say as they are mostly generic and I don't remember this one, so it's a hero.

4. The best know heroes with storyline appearances are Kerrigan, Raynor, Duke, and Duran.

5. Pretty sure Duke is more serious than he needs to be, especially with that accent so I'm mostly positive it's not Duke.

6. This is where the trouble starts: Raynor was care-free at first but I don't think he said this as I remember most of his lines, but I could be wrong.

7. I remember Kerrigan joking and saying many ironic lines and such, well before infestation. I also remember an inside joke that someone told me about on battle.net, so it could also be Duran.

8. I know Kerrigan more than Duran and know a lot of her lines and although I know she joked around at first, I don't remember this particular line. So my pick is Duran.

Although I'm not that confident in my answer, through my process I do believe that it is the right one, as I feel I should know Kerrigan well enough.

Back to strategy, I always liked taerran as rushers because of the medic's fast ability to heal, and the long range of their siege weapons. Also, a long dead strategy I try to keep alive, vulture spider mine field. I never liked zergs as much because of their low health and easy death to reavers and HTs. Of course played right zerg are the MOST annoying, they are EVERYWHERE!!!

On that thought, I guess queens can serve to protect runners returning to base. Also, the protoss arbiter, wow, looks to be useless in the new game (*drool mothership*) counters any runners, stasis and wait... Or just go straight for their base.

TBH, though, it either HAD to be Zealots or DTs. But I can't tell which, and TBH, I don't believe that's its a quote at all. I KNOW all the Zealots quotes, as well as the DT quotes, and those are the only two in the Toss race that even Psionic Blades. I'm pretty sure that neither of them say it. Could you check your sources?

Zealot says, "I long for combat," "My life for Aiur," "Entaro Adun," "Doom to all who threaten the homeworld," "What now calls," "For Adun," "Honor guide me," and another two or three, but I forgot the rest. Pretty sure they don't say, "We are the blades of Aiur."

DT's are a little more simplistic. "Yes?" "Adun torridas!" "Your threats are unadvised, Templar." "Do not provoke me to violence." "You can no more evade my wrath, than you can your own shadow." Like Zealots, there are a few more, but I'm kinda sure that they don't say that quote.

Or maybe I'm way off the mark unit-wise?

BTW, do you pronounce Zealots, zee-lots? Or Zel-lets?
