Going to new server, question about which build....

Okay, ive been playing SRO since August of 2006 and quit on September 2007 when the compensation even stopped my laptop from playing the game. Now I'm back when a new costum built pc that I personally built and picked the parts. Surprisingly, Silkroad runs on this machine considering it has Windows Vista 64 bit.

Anyway, straight to the point. I hate that the fact that there are plenty of botters in the game right now. I am currently playing in Poseidon and have a lvl 43 Hybird Nuker sword and made a new char farmed it and its currently lvl 26 right now with roughly about 20k sp farmed, i got bored and there were plenty of botters in archers pfft.

So anyway, I have spent 200 silk on my lvl 43 Nuker since I got the Premium on it and only used it for like 7 days and have 23 days left on it when i stopped playing my Nuker. so I decided to make another char pure int spear ice and light thining about the mana shield that will come later on.

But now, its just soo dificult to lvl up since there are plenty of botters and i want a char the will difinitely ks those botters.

I was thinking of moving to Hercules, the new server that will open just 2 days from now. I have spent a total of about 400 silk in Poseidon server which included 1 Premium for my lvl 43 Nuker, and only used it for 7 days. 1 SP 4 Week ticket thinking I could farm 4 weeks total in Poseidon but theres plenty of botters, so theres only 22 days left on that. And a Rabbit as well.

I am, however, willing to start over..... Spend another 500 silk or so if I start in Hercules, I will get a pet like a monkey or some sort, premium, as well as a white wolf. Thats basically a half day worth of work for me for a month of fun

Anyway, Im thinking of making an archer, but which one? Ive seen pure str archers and they are just crazy with crits. probably with a good bow of course. And other people also suggest 70 70 hybird.

I think i will go with a pure str though, but do I need to farm if I make an archer like I would on a Nuker?

PS, I have never made a pure str char before, Ive always been a pure int or hybird int nuker in SRO.

Also, If i dont need to farm, I may be able to keep a 4-5 lvl gap and still lvl fast with premium. do you think thats gonna be enough though?

Bow sounds like a good choice if you don't like bots, you can ks them alot. I played one until lvl 40 and I enjoyed it, it's also great for hunting uniques. I'd make a pure str bow but other people here might tell you otherwise, I haven't tried any other variety of the build so I can't tell you much there.

Furthermore, concerning the new server they're very anoying to play when they come out, tons of people all over the low lvl areas, few sos weps/gear and such.

If you'd like to come to Tibet I might people able to help you out a bit, the lead guild is pinoy I believe.

cool, thanks for the reply. I do realize that the new server will have limited supply of sos and stuff, but it does make me feel better since everyone starts out at the same lvl, for those that play when the server opens.

Besides, I think bow will lvl faster especially from lvl 1 - 30 thus I dont have to worry about a bunch of people especially botters when reaching high lvl.

About your farming question, their was a similar question asked about a day or two ago, look for it and I think you can find the answer to your question there.

Also, every server has botters as you can probably tell by now, maybe if you can level quickly on the new server you won't have to worry as much about having bots in your training areas, so I think it might work out well.

TBH dude, Hercules will be infected with botters too.
